Sweet Cocoa

Happy Thursday!
Today, is another very smokey day
with all of the forest fires from B.C. and Alberta
it is effecting our air quality.
Our thoughts are with everyone that is dealing
with these horrible fires.
We are praying for gentle rain for our B.C friends.

Another week has flown by
and so that means
we have a brand new challenge up at Creative Knockouts Challenge

It is hard to tell because my paper in the picture is dark

not sure if that had to do with all of the glitter and sparkle.
It was super fun breaking out this sparkly paper
and the dazzling diamonds that was used on the snowflakes
on the cup. I do love me some hot chocolate.

Hello, Hello and welcome to my blog!
How did we get to the first Thursday in August already?
Kind of feeling like July only took about 5 minutes.
We have had the pleasure of camping with our grandson, our son
and his girlfriend this week. The only thing missing was our
other two kids.
Here is to hoping our camping will become a family tradition with
Emery every summer.

Today, is Thursday and you know what that means...

"Thank You"

Happy last Monday of July.
Where has this gorgeous summer month gone?
It has been a busy time of year but we are
enjoying being out in nature.
This time going out camping we will have our grandson, son, his girlfriend
and our daughter. We are hoping our oldest one
will make it out for a day or two.

Today, I am sharing a card that was made
using a stamp from the stamp set
by
clear stamps, stamps for card making, sentiments, baby, birthday, get well, congrats, thank you

First, was to decide on my sentiment
which honestly was hard because
their are so many good ones from The Project Bin
Second, I decided on my pattern paper, which is from
Little Darling Papers. I just adore the patterns
and color combinations. It is one of my favorites.
Browns, pinks, green and white and then a card sketch by Liz Chidester.
The Scrappiest: Something Special
The dies were easy as I wanted ovals
and I really like my double stitched ones from Gina Marie Designs.
Both the white and brown ovals are double stitched
and I added the pearls between the stitches on the brown.
Stampin' Up marker was used to color the cute image (certainly celery, pink pirouette)
A scallop punch from Stampin' Up was used for create a border
on the bottom triangle.
The fish tale banners were hand cut.
The last thing I decided to do on this card was paper pierce around
the pink card stock.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Crafting With Dragonflies - Challenge #109- Spots and Stripes
Crafty Calendar Challenge - July "Totally Girly"

Please come and check out the shop for The Project Bin

Sleep, Rest, Recover

Happy Monday!
We had a great week/weekend, camping with family, facetiming
with other family members was also a huge treat.
It is always wonderful to get back to nature
and enjoy the beautiful peacefulness, even with storms
passing by, to just sit and be, too feel grounded.

While walking by the water, I was thinking
about what stamp set should be highlighted today for The Project Bin.
All that kept coming to mind was the stamp that said
"Sleep, Rest and Recover"
It is from our brand new set
This sentiment is a great one to share for so many other illnesses
or just a reminder to put yourself first.
The card above was made using First Edition 6x6 pattern paper
Whisper White and Early Espresso paper
Brown memento ink and pearls.

I would love to enter my card into the following challenges.

It was an amazing weekend
spent with family at a family reunion on my dad's side.
It was so awesome to see so many cute babies, cousins,
aunts and uncles. The location was somewhere

memory lane was a lot of fun too.

Denise has created another phenomenal set.
It has baby, get well, thank you, Happy birthday...etc.
clear stamps, stamps for card making, sentiments, baby, birthday, get well, congrats, thank you
