Card #3 for My Sunday Challenge

Hey everyone, it is almost 11:25 pm here in Millet. I am doing laundry at the moment...LOL. Better late than never...hee hee. The dryer is full of my DH work shirts so once they are done, I am off to bed. You know my house is soooooooo quiet...it is kind of nice :).

I was scoping out the challenge blogs after supper and found the Diva Coffee Break Designs and Taylored Expression Sketch Challenge. Both of them looked right up my alley. The thing I stuggled with the most was picking out which stamp to use...LOL. Oh the hard times of crafting...Hee Hee. :) :). Thanks to both sites for giving me such get inspirations to work with.

So glad I could post this one on here before I turned into a pumpkin. Nothing like cutting it close though..*wink*.

My last creation of the night. Hope you like it.

There are only two things on here that aren't Stampin Up and that is the Cuttlebug folder and the flower brads. Stamp set is Blooming with Happiness.

Okay Lori how did I do with the challenge you gave me today...LOL. It was alot of fun and I sure was glad my card genie came back to me.

Thanks for stopping in, wishing you a wonderful Monday. Til next time here is a smile from me to you :)

Card #2 for this Sunday!!

I'm back...shocking I know...LOL. I am in a zone now, but soon to be disturbed with having to make supper for my darling, very noisy children. On Friday we found out that a gentleman who used to be on the Board where my DH works passed away. So you know what that means Sympathy card time. Today was a good day to create one as I had the time and I won't be called last mintue Tamie for procastinating :).

Before creating I had to have some of the fresh baked bread Rob had made. I must say it was soooooooooo yummy with some grape jam. (my mouth is watering again). I then made some hot chocolate, put on some more tunes starting with a some Celine Dione. It was a mood set for card making.

Last night I had went to Picture Perfect Creations Crafty Challenge Blog to see what color combo she had this week. I loved all of these colors. Megan is working hard on this Blog so when you have a chance pop on over to check it out. Congrat's Megan on your second color combo.

I then needed a sketch for this Sympathy Card and in my blogging travels I found The Stamping Boutique Stef's Sketch Challenge #6. It is also another very cool challenge site. I would like to thank them for this sketch it worked well for my smypathy card.

Saturday Spotlight SSHP 20 challenge was to clean it up. Try to make an CAS card. They wanted you to have clean edges and paper for your creation. This was a fun challenge for me to try. This is a very cool challenge site too! So many to play. Glad I found you.

Their are two Sympathy cards, same card sketch and colors just switched up a little bit. They are not fancy and I didn't change the sketch at all. Clean and Simple.

Recipe:
Stamps: Forever in Our Hearts (Verve) and In Loving Memory (Little Paper Shop)
Paper: Soft Suede, Bashful Blue, Kraft, Old Olive
Ink: Old Olive
Accessories: medium oval punch, scalloped oval punch, old olive ribbon and old olive brads, paper piercer.

Have you had a good Sunday?

Hoping to be back on here for one more card tonight...to fullfil my friends challenge to me. I am in a zone...

Thanks for poppin in and thanks to anyone who leaves a comment they are appreciated.

Lori's Challenge to Me! Create, Create, Create!

Good Sunday afternoon my crafting peeps. Today has been a very good day so far. My DH started baking bread...YOU heard it from me...he is baking again!!! We had to go for a walk to buy some bread pans because during one of my kitchen gut outs I threw some out *oops* :). What a beautiful day out side.

My crafting Mojo popped in around 6 am, so I layed their and continued to think of idea's of what to do (didn't want to wake my oldest up). While outside, I thought I needed to get home so that I could work on these spring/summer colors. Nothing like some good tunes like *American Fool* to get your crafting mojo going. As a side note my DH has now discovered how much I talked to myself while I craft....LOL. He kept saying what and I'd say what do you want and he would say you are talking to me, then I would say no I wasn't...LOL. Any who onto my card.

Stampin Royalty Challenge #8 is a color challenge this week. It is bright and wonderful. I thought I would have a hard time putting it together but I didn't. Maybe it was because spring is in the air.

Card Patterns has a new sketch out for their One year Anniversary. Congratulations girls on a wonderful Challenge Blog. I love it and look forward to seeing what pattern is coming up next and checking out all of the talented DT's work.

Lori, Leanne and Melissa have done a wonderful job on this color challenge too.

Here is my Sunday creation:

I had wanted to paper pierce on the only orange and green galore in the middle, but after being interrupted, I had short term memory loss until I had already fixed it onto the card...LOL. I don't think it matters. I really enjoyed using this bella for the first time. I must say I love these colors together, they are so cheery.

The Bella stamp and the Cuttlebug folders and 1 copic marker .are the only things that are not Stampin Up.

I am off to try and create something else. My friend Lori challenged me today to craft and that is exactly what I am going to do. Have an amazing afternoon, til next time thanks for stopping in.

A Great Day but No Crafting!

Hi everyone! It is just after 9 p.m. here in Millet, Alberta. I know today I was to be crafting up a storm, but.....my DH had other plans for me...lol. Oh, how plans change...hee hee. Today, we went to see his Uncle Larry and Aunt Sandy. We haven't seen them in a while and they had our glass insert to our french doors (from our bedroom). Alas, the glass window can't be fixed so we are now on the hunt for either new doors or glass inserts. I am not sure where we are going to look. So after this visit we took our kids to see Rob's grandma. She is 90 years old and spunky and probably one of the best people I know. She had eye surgery on the 16th of Feb and can't do a lot of what she loves right now. It sure has been a good thing the Olympic's are on. It was so good to see her and cheer her up since she had fell just before we came. We then took our oldest son shopping for new shoes. On Tuesday he is off on a fieldtrip that is sure to be an adventure.

So now onto the not crafting part...I have sat down for a while and I am just struggling putting together a card tonight....my crafting Genie went into hiding...LOL. I am going to go to bed early and hope it finds me in the wee hours of sleep so that I can produce something inspiring tomorrow...LOL. So if you are popping in Sorry there is no card tonight. See you tomorrow. thanks for stopping by.

Gotta Love These Colors!!

Good Friday night...my crafting buddies. Today has been a busy day for me...it started with getting up late for school which I thought thank goodness is only a 1/2 day...LOL. So off to bible study I went, then shopping and then home to do my house hold work before the weekend (I am still doing :o).

Not sure if it is a full moon tonight...but my boys were just fighting with one another, as a result upset mom and upset dad equalled early bedtime for all three. Oh did I mention our daughter got into the fighting mix too...LOL....school must have needed to be a whole day. *wink* to much time at home to see one another I guess. It could be spring fever setting in with all the nice weather....maybe tomorrow will be better for them.

I was happy to get down to my little crafting room to try to relax...but was interrupted to mediate(??) a fight...so a few hours later I have my card done.

Thanks to Julie who has an amazing color challenge at The Play Date Cafe this week. I was able to make this little cutie from Greetings Farm. I just might have found a new color combo I *heart*.

My creation for you to see:
I am going to make a second card, but I don't have more flowers...so any suggestions from anyone as what to put in my 4 squares?

Recipe:

Stamp: Greetings Farm

Paper: Taken with Teal, Basic Black and Whisper White, DSP (all SU)

Ink: Versa Fine

Accesorries: flowers, pearls, white pen, markers (SU), Copic's, Ribbon, dazzling diamonds, scalloped square punch and 1 1/4" square punch, dimensionals., clear embossing powder.

Wishing you all a really good night. I hope to be back tomorrow with another card. Thanks so much for stopping in. Til next time I am sending a smile your way!!! Happy Weekend :)

I can't believe it is Thursday!!!!

Wowzer!!! I can't believe where the day has gone or where the week has gone. I am a happy camper today....can you guess....yep, you guessed it because I have a computer. I have been really busy the last few days and not feeling well has been taking a toll. Alas, I sat down today to make a card...LOL...that should have been quick, but this cold is messing with my crafting mojo. I tried different color layouts and only managed to make one of the two I was making...LOL. If anyone has a little mojo left to share feel free to send it to me...LOL.

I found this color challenge on Monday during my brief visit on the internet and thought I would give them a whirl. Scrapmaster's Paradise Color Challenge always have great challenges. When you see my card the Mellow Moss for some reason looks blue but it isn't, it is the real deal of Mellow Moss. (Sorry I don't know what happened)

After I found the color challenge again I went looking for a sketch and boy did I find one. Way to Go Friday Sketchers for an amazing sketch. I would like to try this layout again, with different colors.

Here is my entry for both challenges. I made a get well soon card...only because I think I must have been having pity party for myself today...LOL.

:)...Looking on here the flower is so bright maybe I should have found something else (I think I need some new flowers)...but I hope it makes someone feel good.
Recipe:
Stamps: Garden Silhouettes and Deight in Life (both SU), Heartfelt phrases (Verve)
Paper: Barely Bananna, Mellow Moss and Creamy Caramel
Ink: Mellow Moss and Creamy Caramel
Accessories: dimensionals, paper piercer, small and medium oval punches, Marker (SU), Swiss Dots (Cuttlebug), flowers and brads.
Wishing you a great day and thanks for stopping bye, a smile has just come your way.
Hope to see you later with another card and some more challenges.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday!

Hi everyone, I am not sure where the week has went. Time seems to be flying buy without my computer...LOL. Personally I like it better with my computer :). On Monday I had my computer for about a 1/2 hour before my DH wanted to fix it. So I was checking out new challenges and I had popped back in too KL STampin N Scrappin Blog to see who had the honor of being their TOP 3 picks for challenge #17(click on the highlighted area to see the cards). To my surprise I was one of them....WHAAA00000! LOL...it was the best news I had had all day, I still was not feeling well, but the honor had just made me feel a little better. I am posting my new badge today and am very honored by Kelly and all her DT's thanks again. You do have a terrific blog. Please everyone hop on over to tryout their challenges.

Onto some pretty fanastic mail the kids and I got yesterday. My mom is awesome every year she has made us cards for Valentines Day and we just adore them. Last year when I started my blog I posted her works of art on here and I am doing it again as I am so very proud of her. She always makes a different on for each one of my children and one for my hubby and me. We are spoiled and love it!!!!! Thanks mom for being such a treasure.
My mom works endlessly and sends out tons of Valentines cards every year to my siblings and kids. Here are her works of art this year:

Truck - Happy Birthday....

Well what can I say....with a head that feels as if a semi has run through it (no not from drinking...just sinuses) so crafting has been a bit of a challenge, but thanks to The Play Date Cafe they have managed to make me feel like I am on cloud nine. I made their FAB 4 for Challenge 16 (CLICK HERE). Thanks Julie Ranae for the boost I needed on this Saturday and for letting me know.

Last night I started making these two cards, I was having fun...but then my DH gave me the news we had no internet...well that just didn't sit well...LOL...I was no longer in a hurry to get them done :o. I never knew I liked the computer so much. But due to his hard work and determination he was able to get one computer up and running today before he left. So thank you honey for working so hard for me.

What a week this has been. On Thursday morning I took my first set of 50 cards into a store called Memories Such As These, where they will be sold. I don't think I slepted at all the night before...LOL.

On to the other exciting stuff...crafting :). I didn't know the colors for the Play Date Cafe new challenge #17, but low and behold when I clicked onto their site today, it was the colors I picked, although I didn't use Linen (didn't have any :0) I incorporated Natural Ivory. Yesterday, before everything went wrong with the computers, I scoped out another fantastic challenge blog called Stampin Royalty. Their challenge #7 this week was to make a Mascline card. I thought this was great as I did not have any to take into the store. Both idea's were great for what I wanted to make.

The card below is the first card I started, but the designer paper was giving me some trouble, so I put it aside and started another card...LOL which also gave me some trouble...LOL. Hubby to the rescue... thanks for all of your help.

Card #1: He didn't think I should color the truck and that the ribbon was okay, but he didn't see me put the bow or pearls on today *wink*...and I guess I didn't listen, because I colored the truck...LOL.

Card #2: Rob said to me, to leave it plain...men don't always like things busy...but they do like them plain. Wow was that ever hard for me...hee..hee. I had already done the punching on the side that he really liked...but struggled to balance it out. So in the end I *pretty much* did as he wanted...just added a few pearls...LOL.

As my head is pounding...I am not going to post what I used...well I will do it simply Stamps: Little Paper Shop and Stampin Up. All paper Stampin Up. Markers & embossing powder (clear) Stampin Up. Pearls, and Vera fine Black ink, Chocolate Chip and Real Red Ink.

Wishing you all a fantastic day...hope you are able to take in some Olympic's. I am hoping to make another card tonight and tomorrow is my Monthly Card Class. The card class will be very busy two months in one due to the fact that all the other members were not their or they cancelled coming. I will get a chance to make my first calendar page tomorrow, that should be very exciting. Have a super day!!!

Congrat's.

Finally, Finally I am able to get my cards posted tonight. GRRRR....our laptop is out of commission and so I am left trying to find another way to import my pictures on to my other computer. Sometimes I really do hate change! How about you are you a lover or a hater of change? I am trying to laugh right now, but I don't know where my pictures are saved too! I started a new folder and they are not there...LOL. Guess they are having fun in computer never land. The challenges of crafting and computer work...Hee Hee.

The cards I made are for my DH annual meeting tomorrow night, which I will be attending. Three of his employee's have been with their bank for 20 years. So my DH asked me to make some cards for them. Things have been so busy around here that I finally got them done tonight.*whew*. The challenge I followed was Dazzle us by Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge (this is challenge #4). I did love my pearls so that is my dazzling for tonight...as I am tired, know I can do better..but am going cross eyed just looking at all of my card stuff. As always the DT's have done a totally fab job over at Fussy and Fancy, hop on over and check out their challenge blog.

So here are my cards that I made to Dazzle, hope they do.

Some of the white spots are from my clear embossing powder that I used.

Tomorrow is an exciting day for me. I am taking my cards into the store Memories Such As These to be put on the shelves for the first time to be sold....can you say nervous....I think I just might have heart burn...LOL.
Wishing you all luck in your crafting adventures....mine will have to wait until Friday. I can't wait to see what you all have been up too.
Thanks for stopping bye. Til next time I got a smile for ya!!!

Stampendous Family Day!!!

Hey there to all of my crafting buddies! I hope you all have had a totally fab Valentines Day and Family Day. On Friday we took our kids to see Percy Jackson's Lightning Thief (it was really good). Then on Saturday we went to West Edmonton Mall Water Park with their uncle and aunt (can you say tired!!!) it was the kids belated christmas present. Sunday we made homemade pizza's for Valentine day and my hubby and I went shopping for a little bit on our own :). Today was a rockin day. We had our family friends (who are like our family we got to pick), they came and spent the day with us. The only down part was my dd got sick to her stomach, and didn't feel up to playing. The guys and kids were occupied so that left Lori and I free to make a card...for the first time at my crafting table....how can you beat that!

The other wonderful thing that happened this weekend to me is that I hopped on over to Just Us Girls and low and behold Tracey Cuccia had put my name among the list of 5 other ladies cards to go and check out. So thank you so much for enjoying my card and putting me in such wonderful company, I feel truly honored. Tracey I really enjoyed your sketch it was perfect for my little Swiss pixie.

Now onto some more good stuff. Lori and I checked out some challenge sites and this is what we came up with 365 Days had an amazing sketch for Day 352. This beautiful sketch was designed by Gloria and it worked just wonderfully with our stamps we picked out and the colors. The color challenge we found at KL Stampin N Scrappin Blog Challenge #17. What are the colors you ask.....the best ones RED, WHITE AND BLACK. What a stunning set of colors together...LOVE IT. Thanks so much Kathy for making this card so easy. In my blog hopping I found this cute challenge blog called Crafty Creations Challenge #54. Saskia new challenge for this week was Friendship. What a wonderful idea and it totally helped us pick which stamps we wanted to use and made creating our card that much easier. It was a lucky day, we got the sketch from Gloria, colors from Kathy and the card idea from Saskia...thanks ladies for all your hard work.

These guys are cuties and it is awesome because they represent the joy of friendship. Who can't feel the love from these two...*wink*

So thank you so much Lori and family for coming and spending such a special day with us, the laughter, food and friendship was just the best today. Pop on over to Lori's to see her STINKIN CUTE CARD.

Sorry I have to run...and help my daughter. Wishing you all a great night and hope you have had some time to craft this weekend.

Til next time here is a smile and thanks for popping in.

You are wonderful!

Tonight has been a good night. Aside from the fighting that my children are doing...my crafting zen has set in (ummmmmm, ummmmm, p-a-p-e-r c-r-a-f-t-i-n-g.....ummmm!!)LOL. I had this great layout in my head...but once I put it to paper I had to change it up a couple of times....don't you just hate that! I am just wondering....does anyone else find it hard to make Valentines cards? LOL. My problem with this one was that I just wanted to do to much in such a little space, so I went with less and hopefully it is more.

I needed a color challenge and this morning when I popped over to The Play Date Cafe, I found what I was looking for. Thanks Julie Ranae for the awesome color challenge. My favorite part was the silver color.

HERE IS THE AWESOME COLOR CHALLENGE:

HERE IS MY CREATION:

Not sure if this picture does the card justice.... Also any suggestions for any changes I should make please let me know.

Recipe:
Stamps : Messages for Mom (SU) and Spiritual Sketches (Inkadinkado)
Paper: Real Red, Brushed Silver, Lavender (?? not sure of the name right now), Whisper White (all SU products)
Ink: Versa Fine (Black)
Accessories: Markers (SU), dimensionals, Real Red Satin Ribbon (SU), Siver Argent (SU), Red Rhinestone Brads (SU), Silver Brads (SU), silver pearls, paper piercer, clear embossing powder.

Have an amazing night. While I am entering this I am watching the first night of Survior and it is brutal. One dislocated shoulder and a broken toe...man what are they thinking. I am going to finish watching it with my hubby. Tomorrow is a busy day, but I do hope to be able to put a card on.

Thanks for popping in and sharing my card with me. Wishing you laughter tonight. Chow Bella's.

Love You Much

Hellooooooo my crafting friends. I know it has been a week since I last posted...but with good reason. Last Thrusday my friend Lori and I went to into a craft/wedding shop that is run by a girl I went to high school with. Lori encouraged me to ask her if I would be able to sell my cards at her place of business. The answer was "YES" she said she doesn't have time to make them and has been turning people away who want homemade cards. Stacey said she would love to sell mine. Yahooo!!! So I having been going through my cards all week trying to get them ready to sell. I am very nervous I hope people like them. They will be sold at Memories Such As These in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. Thank you so much Lori for encouraging me!!!! There is more good new but I will get to that later in the post.

I wanted to make a card today...because withdrawal has set in..hee hee. I hopped on over to the Diva Coffee Break Designs Team Blog. They had super fabby colors this week, that I just had to try.

The card layout I found on Saturday, but had no time to create with it. Card Patterns have some amazing layouts and are very flexible with how you interpret the sketch. Please hop on over to both blogs and check them out.

I tried to make a valentines day card that could be for both men and woman. When I was making the cards I started off one way and then just made some subtle changes to one of the cards. I hope you like them both.

Recipe:
Stamp: Love you much (SU)
Paper: Whisper White, Bravo Burgandy, Soft Suede, Pretty in Pink (all SU)
Ink: Bravo Burgandy (SU)
Accessories: Scalloped Circle Punch (SU), Circle Punches (1 1/4", 1")(SU), Bravo Burgandy Ribbon (SU), paper piercer, dimensionals (SU), Markers (SU), Dazzling Diamonds (SU), pearls, cuttle bug folder (Traffic Jam), Nesties (Large & small)circles, sponge.

Card #2

Recipe:
Stamp: Love you much (SU)
Paper: Soft Suede, Bravo Burgandy, Pretting in Pink, Whisper White (all SU)
Ink: Bravo Burgandy (SU)
Accessories: Markers (SU), scalloped circle punch (SU), cirlcel punches (1 1/4" & 1" SU). Pretty in Pink Ribbon (SU), dazzling diamonds (SU), dimensionals (SU), star dust stickles, paper piercer, pearls, cuttlebug folder (traffic jam), nesties (large & small) circles, sponge.

So both cards are the same layout, just switched up the ribbon and paper colors. Hope you like them.

This morning I was on the phone with my girlfriend...it was the most fab Thursday morning for her. She made the FAB 4 for one card and then went over to another blog and she was the Featured Artist for two of her cards and to make that even better through a random draw she won the goodie package. How SWEET IS THAT...and all before 9 a.m.. So congratulations my friend on your wonderful achievements this morning. Can't wait to see all the creativity you pump out. Click here to see her blog. Another friend Leanne just started her blog Banking on Crafts and she place TOP 5 the other night for SPCC challenge. Congrat's to you too on your hard work, which is beautiful. WAY TO GO GIRLS!!!

I hope to make a couple of more cards tonight...at least one...happy crafting...thanks for poppin in and see you soon.

Crafting Frenzy with Lori Installment #5 (Final one)

Well it is in the wee hours of the morning here at Lori's. I am sad to say that our crafting frenzy has come to an end. We didn't make as many cards as we wanted, but I did make 5 very cute cards.

I had some paper set aside all day today and was determined to use it tonight before we went to bed *as you can see I am still not in bed...LOL*. All I needed was a sketch challenge and boy did I find one. It is by Just Us Girls. It is an amazing challenge and it suited the colors I had and my cute fairy stamp by CC Designs to a tee. You should pop on over and check it out.

....here it is my final card of the night.

The last couple days have been fantastic. The laughter, music, crafting and just spending sometime with my wonderful friend and her family has been a blessing. Thank you Lori so much for opening your craft room to me and all the fab pictures you took for me these last few days. Wishing everyone a fantastic night and hopefully some sleep before the weekend. On that note after so many sleepless night...I must catch some winks so I can continue crafting on the weekend. Thanks for popping on over.

Crafting Frenzy with Lori #4 Installment

So when we came back from town I sat down and started working on this card (I started this morning but had to walk away). Then Bada Bing, Bada Bang the colors and layout worked out.

This cool sketch is from Friday Sketchers #88. I really love this layout with that very cute Whiff of Joy stamp. Pop on over to their challenge blog to see the great works of art.

So this is my second entry for this particular color combo challenge. I started this morning with these colors and but finally worked them out tonight. Hope you like it. Thanks for the challenge and pop on over to visit this cute challenge blog. Scrapmaster's Paradise.
Here is my card....

I am looking forward to making another card tonight. Thanks for stopping bye. Til next time keep smile :).

Crafting Frenzy with Lori Installment #3

Good day! Today Lori and I are continuing with our card frenzy days. We got up this morning and looked at some sketch challenges and color combo...so we could set to work and produce a mass of cards *Not*...LOL. Checking things out in blogger land has been a *HOOT* if not time consuming...LOL. Before we knew it 3 hours had past and neither one of us had a card put together...LOL. We were concentrating so hard that we had no clue what time it was....dedication for you!!!!..:)

I struggled with the layout we found today along with the color challenge....I set the sketch challenge to the side and concentrated on the color combo. Most of the colors are incorporated into the card with coloring. I think it turned out pretty good. Stop by Scrapmaster's Paradise Color Combo's. It is a challenge that is well worth taking.

This is another first for me. I have not used this Whiff of Joy stamp yet and so here she is. I also used the Stampin Up impression plates for the first time and my friend Lori's Martha Stewart punch (that I got her for christmas, it is stunning). I colored the pink into her shoes. Copic markers were used for the skin color, but the rest are Stampin Up markers. There are some red gems in the middle of the flowers and up on the sideof this cute girl. A suggestion that Lori made and I am super glad that I listened.

After we came back from town, I was able to put the other sketch challenge together with the this same color combo. Sometimes knowing when to step away is all it takes. *Woot, Woot* so far two cards. Hope to keep pumping them out tonight.

Thanks for popping in please say hi and let me know what you think of this card. Wishing you an amazing night.

Crafting Frenzy with Lori Installment #2

Wow, can you say that the time has just flown bye!!! :) Lori and I have been working hard on another card. It took me a while to get my layers just the way I wanted them but guess what it finally worked out right. This is a 2 in 1 card and let me say I think they are just cute. The stamps we are using are being inked for the first time *wahoo*. I couldn't think of a better person to help me ink them up! Thanks girlie. This is a blast!!!

We popped over to The Play Date Cafe to see what this weeks color challenge was. Please pop on over and check out there blog! Lori and I used Sage Shadow, Really Rust, Chocolate Chip, Not Quite Navy, Autumn Vine DSP, Naturals White.

My second challenge that we found was at Splitcoast Stampers Sketch Challenge SC266.
this is my card that I came up with. The stamp is from the Greeting Farm Lottie with Apples. Isn't she just perfect!

I guess time flies when you are having fun. It has been the best day sharing time with my friend and her family. Please check Lori's cute card she did an amazing card too! We are hoping to keep pumping out cards so please pop in to visit. I enjoy your comments.

Keep smiling, til next time....

Crafting Frenzy with Lori Installment #1

Crafting and checking out blogs was what Lori and I were up to last night. My kids have a couple of days off of school....so you know what that means, no work for me just play!!!!!! :)

I started working on one sketch layout and then well....I just went rogue...LOL and made my own sketch. We were getting tired so we decided to finish our stinkin cute cards when we got back home today.

The La-La Land Craft Blog Challenge #24 was to have a heart somewhere on my card. Didn't I just luckout that my cute Greeting Farms girl had one on her jacket. Wahooo! The cards on this site are amazing.

The Color Throwdown Challenge #78 gave me the colors I needed to work with. They were great colors, I just didn't have soft sky so I used Baja Breeze. Thanks for the amazing colors to work with.
Here is what I came up with. The Greeting Farm girls are so cute. I can't wait to use more. If anyone knows the name of this cutie please let me know (It didn't come with a label with her name). Thanks. Oh and for the first time I used my pastel set of 12 sketch copic markers.

Click here to check out Lori's "stinkin" cute CC Design girl card. She did 4 challenges in one. We are hoping to pump out some more cards tonight. Please come back and see what we have created. Nothing like laughter and crafting to make a great day.
