The Most Adorable Raccoons!

Good morning to my blogger land peeps!
I truly don't know where these weeks have been going.
The weather has been a bit up and down
really scary for some areas of our province.
The fields are too wet for the farmers
to get into to get their first cuts done and that makes me sad.
We are truly hoping for some beautiful weather with no
rain for a bit.

Give A Girl The Right Shoes

 Good morning to you!
It is hard to believe that in just a few days
July will be half over. *shocking*
We had a lovely weekend spent with family,
enjoying each other and missing our loved ones
that are watching us from heaven.
We celebrated two beautiful young woman who are
now high school graduates. We are so very proud of them.

Today, is my day to pick a stamp set to high light
Wise Woman is what I chose to work with.
I adore this set with all of the different sentiments.
Now I am a shoe girl but sadly only have a few pairs of
beautiful heels; that I am unable to wear now. *sigh*.
I love people watching for dress shoes.
There are so many cute/beautiful shoes.
On the card above, I stamped the sentiment and image.
Then stamped the shoe separately and fussy cut it out to pop
it up in the center.
Some circle dies, pattern paper, butterfly punches
and woo-la the card was done.

Please join us from Monday - Friday on our blog.
We have inspiration for you on these days.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
Wishing you a very happy day!

Having Fun!

Good Morning!
Yesterday, was Canada Day.
It was such a different day,
only a little time with some of our family
and no friends.
For most of the day it rain but after a heavy rain
the sun popped out and made the afternoon
and evening very nice.
We sure are missing watching sports and rodeos.

Today, we have the first challenge of July
What is the challenge you say?
Challenge #357 - Sew It Up
I always love this challenge :)
Our fun sponsor this week is from
http://craftysentimentsdesigns.co.uk
the Prize is 3 images.
Thank you so much for letting me
color up and showcase
I chose to color in yellow and oranges to
add some bright color to the rainy morning we were having.

The sewing that was done is on the outside rectangle
and on the first oval.
On the rectangle the stitching and holes were there from the die,
so I decided to pull out my needle and sew just in the holes
and leave the dashes open.
On the oval, I poked holes around it and then hand
stitched it. It is hard to tell but the thread is the
same color on both layers.

We would really love it if you would join us
for our challenge at Creative Knockouts.
My fellow DT's have some amazing creations for you.
I look forward to seeing your work and commenting.

Wishing you an amazing Day!
Share a smile with someone, they just might be needing it.
Thank you so much for joining me.
Hugs,
