Journey Through A Book

Happy Thursday morning!!!
Our snow is gone and yesterday it rained most of the day.
Chilly but still a not too bad day for a walk with my hubby
in the great outdoors. It was fun to see a few trees
that the beavers had chewed down. Being in nature
sure has a way of bringing a calm and peace to me.

Today, we have an easy peasy challenge for you over at
Our challenge for this week is
Challenge #265 - Anything Goes
our wonderful sponsor is
and the wonderful image that I got to highlight
is called
Prize: 3 Images
So, I took some time to color up this very cute
image and well it had books, so I needed to go finish
this fun book that my friend lent to me.
Then it was time to come back and create my card.
For some reason, it just seems like this card should be
a little more clean and simple.
I used a stamp for the sentiment that inspires me
about life but also reading, which have I mentioned. I LOVE!!!
A stack of books like this one awaits me
to finish reading.

I would love to enter my card into the following challenges:
Crafty Creations Challenges - Challenge #375 - Anything Goes
Creative Moments - #153 - Anything Goes with twist Fall Colors

Please come and join us at Creative Knockouts.
My fellow DT's have amazing creations for you
and will completely inspire you.

Thank you so much for joining me
and for taking the time to comment.
Have a blessed day!

One Cool Ghoul!

Good, good morning, from snowy small town Millet, Alberta.
It has been a fairly snowy September for us already,
which is unusual. The roads were extremely bad
in the wee hours of Saturday morning. Our daughters volleyball bus
was on a way to a tournament in Red Deer and it was turned around 30 minutes after
they left home. As we came back home it ALMOST
made me want to turn on the Christmas movies.

The image and sentiment above are from
clear stamps, sentiments, Halloween, ghosts, stamps with matching dies, die cutting, paper crafts, card making

Recipe:
Stamp set: Cool Ghoul (The Project Bin)
Pattern Paper: Echo Park
Paper: Stampin' Up (not sure exactly colors, came from my scrap bin)
Accessories: web, punch, embossing folder and sequin (Stampin' Up)

I would like to enter the following challenges:
Crafter's Castle - Challenge #9 Anything Goes with optional twist Fall/Halloween
Sweet Stampin' Challenge Blog - Dies/punches (punch is the scallopy one)
CAS-ual Fridays - The Challenge - CFC #208 - Use Sequins

We would love to have you stop by The Project Bin
shop and the blog.
The blog has brand new inspiration for you every day!
Have a blessed week.
Thank you so much for joining me.
Hugs,

Get Your Spook On!

Good morning! It sure was a chilly, blustery, snowing/raining
5 days here in Alberta. I believe most parts got to see some fluffy
white stuff.
My heart goes out to everyone who has been and continues
to be affected by Hurricane Florence.

When I think of Halloween, it always seems
to be chilly; so it was perfect time
to break out this new Halloween set from
clear stamps, sentiments, Halloween, ghosts, stamps with matching dies, die cutting, paper crafts, card making
The card above is a Gate Fold Card.
The panels are not the same size,
I wanted to see what it would look like if
you made it a little off center, with the different size panels.
It turned out pretty good. Although,
their are some people I know who would have troubles
because of the panel size difference.
Isn't this stamp set simply fun! The sentiments are awesome and
the ghost stamps/dies are super fun to use too.
I believe this will be my grandsons Halloween card this year.
The paper was from a pile that has well in honesty
been hoarded for a few years now. Guess
it was waiting for me to get this stamp set.
The web is cut in half and is from Stampin' Up and
so is the brick embossing folder.
The inside has a stampin' up punch to make it a little more fancy
and to complete the whole look of the card.

Hope on over to The Project Bin Blog for more
inspiration each day!
Thank you so much for all comments
and to everyone who has been
able to share in my creations.

Have a blessed week,
Hugs

Hello and happy Thursday morning!
Well yesterday was blustery, cold and rainy

Eat Pie & Give Thanks

Happy Monday!
The brand new stamp set being highlighted today is,
Last week the kids brought me home
some happy mail and it was this stamp set.

So many ideas have been flowing with this set.
The sentiments are amazing and so are the fonts.
word art stamps, theprojectbin.com, Thanksgiving stamps, Fall stamps, Autumn, clear stamps, sentiments, pie, pumpkins, friendship, thanks, gratitude, card making, card ideas, hand stamped cards, hand made cards
I love pie (pumpkin, blueberry, cherry, Lemon meringue, apple pie)
it just made sense for me to start with giving thanks and of
course eating out pie. Sadly, there was no pie to eat while
getting crafty.

The images were colored with my Copic Markers
The sentiment/images were stamped with Memento Ink
Gina Marie Designs double stitched oval die was used
(although with my brown you can't really see it).
Vanilla and Early Espresso papers are from Stampin' Up
The pattern paper is unknown.
The punch is from Stampin' Up and the enamel dots are YNS.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Crafter's Castle - Challenge #9 - Anything Goes - Fall\Halloween
Colour Crazy Craft Challenge - Week 36 - Anything Goes
Creative Fingers Challenge Blog - Challenge #152 - Anything Goes

Here is to hoping that we are a little more settled with
our new back to school routines. We were all just a little
tired this past week/weekend.

Thank you so much for joining me.
Have a very blessed week.

I Remembered Your Birthday Without Looking on Facebook!

Happy Labor Day Monday!!!
It has been a really great long weekend.
Still tough to believe it is September 3.
Our daughter starts
grade 11 tomorrow and it is hard to believe,
just how fast time is flying.
It will be good to be back into a routine
for all of us. School has a way of doing that.

Today, I want to share my DT card
I used two stamp sets
Born Yesterday and Fun is Good
It is really awesome using these
stamps that are so versatile with other ones.
Mixing and matching are so much fun.
This card was made as a surprise for my mom
from one of her friends. It was so much fun to play a little
trick on her, although she figured it out...Hee Hee.

Born Yesterday (left)       and      Fun is Good (right)

This card is called a Double Dutch Fold Card
as it was a surprise,
it was fun to try a new fold. I will be making more of these.
You can lift the top flap and there is space for you to write.

The paper is from Little Darlings and SU
and the oval punches are from Stampin' Up.
Dazzling Diamonds glitter was used on the cupcake and cake.
What girl doesn't need a little glitter on her birthday!
Still working on taking pictures of my cards
with my phone. Sorry these are a little blurry.

Hoping this last day of your long weekend is
a good one and that you are able to
enjoy some crafting time.

Be sure to hop on over to The Project Bin Blog for more inspiration this week.
Please join me again next Monday
for another new creation for The Project Bin.

Hugs
