Good Morning! Exciting news for this week, well my family has a new kitten...named Tigger! I guess the old saying is NEVER say NEVER...guess I did that once to often....LOL. She is very cute and has captured everyone's hearts. She reminded us of one of my husbands kittens he had growing up. We are now in for an adventure :)
We are on the last Thursday of August and at 4 Crafty Chicks our fabulous Lori is our Hostess. Lori has asked us to use SQUARES for Challenge #157what a fantastic challenge. So many ways to be inspired by this challenge.
To make my squares below, I used two of my Stampin Up punches. I thought it would be fun to make a baby card with these fabulous pattern papers. A clean and simple layout that really could be used with any kind of sentiment.
We hope that you will join us at 4 Crafty Chicks this week as we do love to see what idea's our challenges inspire in you. I look forward to hopping on over to see what you have created. My fellow DT's have awesome inspiration for you.
Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to comment. They are appreciated.
Enjoy the journey of your day!

Have a Magical Day!
Good morning! Today, is back to school shopping for my kids and I. It is going to be a fun day and hopefully the weather is nice. Just a tad of exciting news to share with you. My new craft room is completed and stuff is moved in, not completely organized as I am missing some much needed shelves and drawers (not sure where stuff is... :) but it is mine all the same, no sharing anymore. When I get it fixed up pictures will follow :) My first creation was made yesterday in it and you get to see it today! Enough of that and onto our new Challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks!
Lori is our Hostess with the Mostess this week. She is giving us a challenge that we haven't done in a while....Do you want to know what it is? Well for Challenge # 156 - It is an Inspiration Photo that is down below. It is full of vibrant colors, ripples and really this should get some creative juices flowing. I know it did for me.
My card is below. In order to incorporate the ripples I used my Cheveron embossing folder from Stampin Up. The colors are the black, grey, white, blue, light purples, pink and a touch of green. It was fun to add the ribbon and the brad too :)
I would like to enter my card into Make it Monday -#`54- Anything Goes
My fellow chicks have some awesome inspiration for you over at 4 Crafty Chicks. Hop on over to see them and then come and join us for our challenge. We would love to see what you create from this picture!
Have a magical day and thank you so much for stopping by.

With Sympathy
Good morning! Well this week has been a wee bit exciting, basketball/volleyball camp, back to school shopping (feel like I am swearing when I say that *wink*), we celebrated a 40th birthday, babysitting a 7 year old and a 14 month old all week, I finished painting my new craft room (but just have to wait until it all dries before I can move my stuff in (and pretend to organize it better...LOL). Here is hoping for this weekend). Today, I am going on a girls day with my fabulous friend Lori! Enough about my week and onto our new challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks.
We are on Challenge #155 and it is my turn to give it to you. My challenge to everyone is to create a sympathy card. Unfortunately we have needed way to many of these lately.
My card below uses Martha Stewart butterfly punches and the stamps are from Verve. The paper is basic black, whisper white and Basic Grey. It is a pretty clean and simple card but I tried to add some pop with the folding of the top two layers. Hope it worked.

A Little Black and White!
Good Morning! As I look out the window it is misty or foggy morning outside. Really not sure what kind of weather we are going to have today! The birds however are singing. We are on the last 5 days of my husbands holidays and I just can't believe how fast time has flown. Yesterday consisted of going back to school shopping with our daughter who was in her glory! We also got a chance to watch our oldest play at his volleyball/basketball camp. Another busy day in the neighborhood!
At 4 Crafty Chicks Melissa is our hostess with the mostess! Her challenge for us is to use Black and White - Challenge #154. Scrapbooking, cards, 3D, knitting...what ever this challenge inspires in you!
The flower below was made out of one of Lori's die cuts and stampin Up's little flower punch. Clean and Simple. The scallop edging is also one of her dies. Thanks for crafting with me. It was a fun day!
I would love to enter my card into Make It Mondays - Anything Goes

4 Crafty Chicks - Bling
Hello and welcome to the first Thursday of August! Someone must have been playing a magic trick because July just went poof :) I am enjoying time with my family. My husband is on holidays now, so let the fun begin!!
We are on Challenge #153 over at 4 Crafty Chicks and our hostess with the mostess this week is none other than our one and only Leanne. She is challenging us to use Bling! I love bling but went for a more subtle version. As I look at my card I should have put one more gem on it. My card again is clean and simple. This is another card that was made while crafting with Lori and these are more of her cutie patootie stamps. She also gave me this cute little wooden tag to use. Thanks girlie for sharing your wonderful amazing stash with me!!
We would love to see your creations over at 4 Crafty Chicks. Who doesn't love to use a little bit or a lot of bling. I can't wait to see what you share with us. If you want more inspiration please hop on over to see what Leanne, Lori and Melissa have created.
Thank you for stopping by. Have an amazing week and don't forget to smile.
