Summer-y Fun continues with PPC Color Combo #19

Wow the weeks are just flying bye! Today, is the second last day of school for my kids. I have been lucky enough to have my nephew Justin staying with me for a few days before he is off to my mom's ( he is from Victoria, B.C.). On Saturday it was awesome because I also had Cassidy and Cody (my other nephew's) here for a visit too. Yesterday, was my last stamp class for the summer! I will miss my peeps but I am looking forward to a summer of fun and crafting in my very cool (cold) craft room *wink*. Thanks ladies for a wonderful day!! This morning I had a shock when my alarm didn't go off and Ty and Taylor were ringing my door bell waiting for me to come let them in (LOL). My heart was just a beating...LOL. I really need a new alarm clock..LOL! What a surprising start to the morning.

Our first blog hop has now come to an offical end! Not to worry the fun is not over we are now onto Color Combo #19 at PPC ! Thanks for all of my new followers and to the others who commented during the blog hop on my card. Megan has out done herself once again. The colors she picked are again summer-y kind. I didn't have Daffodil Delight so I used Summer Sun instead (the yellow is very bright). I also would like to let you know that our sponsor this week is PRETTY PIN EMBELLISHMENT by Lisa G., http://prettypinembellishment.blogspot.com/, her pin's are just awesome so please hop on over to her website and check them out.
The sketch I chose is from Jen del Muro at i*heart* 2 stamp, thanks Jen for doing such a terrific sketch this week. Now I did turn it on it's side because I the image I used this week, I hope that is okay.

This CC Design Fairy is just sooooooooo adorable...I know I did a fairy for PPC #18, but I do love them and well this little cutie was just begging to be used...LOL. I didn't have inks in Riding Hood Red so I used a different Red and then used my blender pen to make the middle part of the dress lighter; of course I just had to use dazzling diamonds some flowers, butterflies and pearls, oh and not to mention D'Vine Swirl and Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folders and scalloped trim border to make my card complete.

Are you excited, here is the full card :) *wink*. I just *heart* her :)

Thanks for stopping in and enjoying my card with me. Stay tuned for the announcing of the winner. I will be announcing it along with Megan's announcement of the winners from the PPC Challenge blog. So stop on back...to see who the lucky crafter is. Please come by and join us for a new challenge each week. The people are fun and so are the color combo's. Share some love with the other DT's, their cards and scrapbook layouts are just awesome (they are great inspirations)! Have a day fun of sunshine and smiles.

Small Wonder!

Good Monday Morning! The sun is shining it is going to be a perfect day!

How was your weekend? My weekend was a little crazy. I went to Didsbury to visit my Aunt and Uncle they had some stuff for me and then we carried on to Red Deer to surprise my other Auntie and Uncle. Thank goodness they were home because we shared so much laughter, it really was good for the soul. On Sunday the kids and I took my DH to see Karate Kid for Father's Day! All in all it was a super weekend. The weather was super nice too, gotta love that when you actually get nice weather on the weekend.

Today is such an exciting day, it is hard to believe that we are already on Challenge #18 at Picture Perfect Creations and I am loving every minute of being able to visit you all and comment on your cards. The colors that Megan put together for this challenge are great, you can use them for so different styles of cards. Masculine, Birthday, Anniversary and just about anything else you can think of. I sure hope you will join us this week and show us your amazing creations I can't wait to check them out.

Here is my card. I have been wanting to ink up this pretty Kraftin' Kimmie Fairy for a while now. I love the colors and while I didn't have all of the pens or ink pads I improvised with some earthy colors. Hope you like it, oh and I just couldn't resist putting on the dazzling diamonds. Gotta love bling *wink*.

This week is a busy week over at PPC, we are having our normal color challenge and then we are doing a blog hop too (starting today). Come check it out and have some fun. Remember each week you can win a badge. A Grand Winner and Runner Up.

I will see you later today! Please come and join us for our first Blog Hop!

Happy Father's Day!

It is Thursday already...what has happened to the rest of the week? I thought I would be in my craft room earlier this week to make a dent into some of the amazing challenges out there but alas it was not ment to be. We are having computer difficulties so it has hindered a FAVORITE past time of mine.

I called my girlfriend Lori this morning to see if she could come and craft but sadly she had other things to do (maybe next week). A couple of weekends ago we got together and stamped and colored a few images and it really is something to consider doing. Today, I needed some Father's Day cards and we had already colored them I just needed to design it and find what colors I wanted to use. Thanks Lori for the great idea, laughter and coloring it helps when you are in a pinch.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog - Doodling
Cupcake Craft Challenge- One for the Boys
Totally Stampalicious- Father's Day Card
Stampin' Royalty - Masculine Themed Project
Creative Inspirations - One for the Boys

This card is for my hubby. Lori told me she had the perfect stamp for my husband and boy did she ever...LOL. He loves his new T.V. and using the remote for channel flicking...(love him to bits and pieces).

I don't know if you remeber a couple of months ago my DH was into helping me and he was always telling me less is more...LOL. So for this card I sure did less, hope he likes it.

Thanks for stopping by to share my card. I am sending a smile your way :) hope it makes someones day!

Recipe: All the papers are SU (really rust, always artichoke, chocolate chip and whisper white); Ink: versa fine black and clear embossing powder; Accessories: Copic Markers, SU markers, photo corner punch (SU) and Swiss Dots folder.

Love and Cherish

Good Morning! The sun is hiding behind some clouds this morning thank goodness. I am sooooo hot and well cold because I am like a lobster with a bright gleam...LOL and oh some blisters on my arms. This weekend it was amazing, I celebrated my best friends 40th birthday (LORI) with the girls (her son came to stay with my boys), had my cousin family come and stay the weekend where their son and my boys played in a soccer tounrament. Who could ask for more with tons of laughter between good friends and family!

Megan over at PPC this week has another fantastic color combo for us. She is highlighting some of the new colors that Stampin UP is bringing in. I *sadly* do not have any so I used Chocolate Chip and Riding Hood Red. To go with this amazing challenge I hopped on over to Friday Sketchers and the sketch cried use me, use me and I think the layout is just perfect for these colors. Thanks ladies for the inspiration.

Here are my two who are so much in love. Aren't they just adorable? I love Sarah Kay's amazing stamps. Last night I said to myself "Tamie you are going to use some designer paper this week and as you can see I actually used two....a shock I know.
Recipe: Sarah Kay stamp; Paper: Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red, So Saffron, Elegant Eggplant, DSP and Whisper White; Ink: Versa Fine Black; Accessories: SU Markers, clear embossing powder, Copic Marker, pearls, SU Punches (corner and scallop), Rub-ons, Swiss Dots and Dots & Spots folders, white pen.
My busy week is over and the boys are done soccer now (and...what to do with some spare time hmmmmm????). I only have gymnastics for two more weeks and then I am singing freedom. I am finding it hard to believe that my kids only have 2 weeks and two days left of school. Who is counting *wink*. My little man Ethan just came in and guess what we had an early morning sprinkle and I didn't even know it...LOL. I am really goin to enjoy this cool day.
Be sure to pop in and give the PPC Creator DT's some love, they have some awesome inspiration this week (their links are up on the right hand side). Don't forget to join us on June 21 for our first Blog Hop over at PPC.
Maybe if I am lucky and the crafting fairy is with me I just might be able to get back in my craft room and make another card card today. Thanks for stopping bye, I appreciate the comments that are left. Sorry, that I have also been so absent on my blog we had so many things thrown at us the last few weeks. A smile is being sent your way, so please pass one on to make someone elses day!

Victory is Always Possible!

Hi dee Ho! How was your weekend? My weekend was completely fantabulous *wink*. My super fab girlfriend Lori came over to visit with her kids ( her kids + my kids = occupied kids = playtime for us :0). What was going to be a day visit ended up being a sleep over. On Saturday night we stamped and colored images ahead of time so we can pull them out and just make a card (cool idea huh?). I just love to color and so does she so we were like little girls all grown up and something to color...*wink, giggle*. Then yesterday Lori and her daughter Kim joined my DH, DD and I for a trip to Edmonton to watch the Canadian Rythmic Gymnastic's Championship Finals. It was AWESOME!! We sat their just amazed at what those girls can do! Congrat's to our new Canadian National Team.

Can't believe the first week of June is gone...but you know what it means, when it is Monday!!! A New Color Combo #16 from PPC. Yahoooooooo! Now these colors are neat to play with. I did the best I could since I didn't have ink in the Pacific Blue. I got out my dazzling diamonds again (heart them). I also used Verves stamp set Believe. Come join us this week and show us what you got, that way I can come and comment on what you create. Now on to the color banner and what I made.

Here is my Monday morning card:
