My first Bingo Challenge!

Happy Thursday all! I am excited to be sharing another 4 Crafty Chicks challenge with you.  We are on challenge #161 and our beautiful hostess is none other than Lori.  The Challenge she is offering up for us to do is a first at 4 Crafty Chicks.  It is a fantabulous challenge.

Challenge #161 - Bingo
You can go vertical, diagional and across! Whatever grouping inspires you but please let us know what row you decided to use for the Bingo :)
I chose to use the middle row for my bingo, ribbon, sentiment and brads.  I am currently working on Christmas cards for my husbands board members.  Each board member receives a different card.  So this is my second Christmas card of the season.  The paper is perfect plum, whisper white and sky (??); ink is perfect plum, whisper white ribbon, martha stewart snowflake punch, stampin up word window punch and label punch (??), the embossing folders are also from stampin up.
The paper is not my usual Christmas paper so I truly stepped out of my box on this one...hee hee.

Being as One Crazy Stampers Challenge Blog this month is Christmas, I would like to enter my card into their challenge.  This card will also be entered into Anything Goes over at Make It Monday.

If you are ready to see some more inspiration then please hop on over to 4 Crafty Chicks to see what Bonnie, Leanne and Lori have created.  We would love to see what this bingo has inspired in you.  Can't wait to visit your blog.

Thank for stopping by and sharing my card with me.  Here is a smile coming your way.

New Challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks and an Announcement!

Good Morning! We have had another busy week! We had some family excitement, our oldest sons volleyball team won gold at a tournament, my daughter made the junior volleyball team (she is in grade 6), our middle son is learning to do all of these different types of push ups.  He is trying to do at least 300 a day...can you say *OY*.  We are so proud of them all. The weather has been just amazing but then it dropped yesterday by about 10-14 degrees (brrrr). My mom has been sick and we are hoping she continues to feel better.  Enough of my blabbing and onto the real important stuff.

Onto 4 Crafty Chicks news we are so excited to announce that we have a brand new Chick! She has stunning creations, a wonderful sense of humor and one fabulous blog.  We are so excited to have her with us! Her name is Bonnie Sharp and her blog is are your ready?  It is called The Lucky Clucker.....it sure fits right in with our hen house! We would love it if you would give her a big welcome.  We are super stoked about working with her.

I am the hostess this week over at 4 Crafty Chicks.  In a blink of an eye we are on Challenge #160, please use a balloon or multiple balloons on your creations.

My card below was for my brother-in-laws 40th birthday! My husband picked out the stamp and asked me to make it for him.  I colored it with copics, used two embossing folders, paper (cherry cobbler, whisper white and blue), cherry cobbler twine and 3 punches (two tags and a scallop punch) from stampin up, and the stamp is from totally stampalicious (love these stamps).

What do balloons inspire in you? We would have to see your creation and if you want to see some awesome cards done by Bonnie, Leanne and Lori then please hop on over to 4 Crafty Chicks!

Until next time, please have an amazing day and thanks for stopping in!

4 Crafty Chicks meets One Crazy Stamper

Hello! We are having a heat wave here today and can you believe we are on the 12th day of September and it is like summer! Bring it on baby :) I will enjoy any amount of sun I can get :)

It is time for another challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks! Our hostess this week is Melissa and she would like us to be creative with the sketch she has made for us.  Melissa has decided to pursue some other endeavors both creatively and personally, so this is her last challenge with us. Good luck!

CHALLENGE #158 - Sketch

When I saw this sketch...the first idea that came to mind was to do a Christmas card! It is a clean and simple sketch but you could dress it up or dress it down, what ever you would like to do. Great sketch Melissa.  My stamp set is Warmest Regards and Contempo Christmas from Stampin Up, the punch, paper embossing folder and dimensional are also from Stampin Up.  The pattern paper and green paper is from Holley Jolly Christmas Echo Park. Super excited to have my very first Christmas card done :)
This week I did a real fun blog hop over at One Crazy Stampers Challenge Blog and was excited to see their Challenge for the month of September is Christmas....well wouldn't you know my card is a Christmas one.

We would love it if you would hop on over to 4 Crafty Chicks and join us for our fun sketch challenge.  The girls have some rockin inspiration for you.  I love coming to see your work and getting to know you! Can't wait to see what this inspires in you.

Have an amazing day and don't forget to share a smile! Thanks for stopping by.

Lace and 4 Crafty Chicks Looking for Guest Designers!

Good Morning! The first week of school has been a busy but fun one.  Tristan our oldest made the senior boys high school volleyball team and they are having their first tournament this weekend.  Robin and Kaitlyn both start gymnastics and Ta-Kwon-Do next week.  We are all trying to adjust to having a routine again.  How has your first week back at school been? Did you do any registrations to sign your kids up for an activity or yourself even?

We are are looking for Guest Designers for the months of October, November and December over at 4 Crafty Chicks.  If you would like to be one please play along with our challenge and put GDT behind your name.  Our lovely hostess is Leanne and well I love the challenge she has for us this week.  We are on Challenge #158 and she would love to see some Lace on your creations.

When blog hopping, I have seen so many people do all white cards! How do they do it....I struggled for hours to make my cousins wedding card. Granted I had spellbinders that wouldn't cut through the paper, so I had to keep changing the design.  So many crafter's make their cards look just stunning.  Texture was added by using 3 embossing folders.  The butterfly was hand made by my friends Aunt Sharon (isn't it stunning?).  The LACE is called Lace Doily Ribbon by Paper Studio (I got it in 3 other colors). Of course the pearls to add a little touch of what I think is some elegance.

I would love to enter my creation over at Make It Monday - #156 - Anything Goes!

We would love it if you would come on out and join us at 4 Crafty Chicks.  Don't forget about our Guest Designer positions.  Leanne, Lori and Melissa have more inspiration waiting for you over at 4 Crafty Chicks!

Thanks for sharing my card with me! Have a great week and take a little bit of time to enjoy the journey! Hugs
