Margarita Time

Good morning everyone!

Final exams for done for this semester for the kids

starting on Monday a brand new semester with

brand new classes, teachers and probably classmates.

This school year seems to be flying by.

At the moment though a nice Margarita on the beach

sounds great to me. 

We have a brand new challenge over at Creative Knockouts

this week and I think it is pretty darn awesome.

it is a digital image.

She was colored up using Copic Markers

The flowers and leaves are all from my stash of unknowns.

Happy Valentine's Day

Good morning friends!

It has been a warm but also cold and blustery weekend.

We have had rain/freezing rain, snow, wind and melting.

What stamp am I highlight for The Project Bin today?

I am sharing with you In My Heart

It has  two dies

and seven stamps.

My card today is clean and simple

The heart was cut our with our heart

shape die and then stamped the

solid pink heart through the die cut

hole. After that, I took the

Happy Valentine's Day stamp

and stamped on top.

The color pink is used on this card

as it is my grandma's favorite color.

I then took the top panel

with the die cut heart shape 

and embossed it with an

embossing folder from

Stampin' Up.

I love the effects of the folder and started

adding a few pearls but before I new it

the whole panel was covered with bling.

Hopefully it isn't too much.

I love this time of year

as it is another reason to celebrate our

loved ones with cards or crafts.

 Happy Monday!

How was your weekend? My weekend was good,

I got to go in and spend some more time with dad and mom.

We had KFC out of the box and dad called it a picnic.

It was fun watching curling and figure skating together which was really nice,

while my mom went to see her mom.

The stamp set that I am sharing with you today is

 How cute are the smores

and that sentiment just makes me smile.

It is a perfect honest anytime of year but

I think it is awesome for valentines day.

Good morning!
It has been a busy week with some really joyous moments
and some really sad moments too.

My image is colored using Copic Markers
I did real stitching around the hearts
using embroidering thread (brown and red)
the Paper piercing is from a set from Stampin' Up.

With my mom's help because she has these wonderful
Heart Shaped dies from Stampin' Up
we were able to complete this card.
I must say it was so much fun getting crafty with her.
The idea of doing the whole card as a heart shape was hers.
She is an incredible card maker.

I will be heading back to cut out a plan heart shape

insert for this card to complete it. Some more cards like this

one is in my future...wink, wink.

I Love You Even When.....

Good morning everyone!

It was a beautiful weekend with warm temperatures.

It was a busy week and weekend but tons of fun :)

I had sleep overs with some girl friends, visiting with family

we don't see much, watched some high school basketball (more visiting and laughing with parents). Visiting with our kids

it really was a wonderful week, filled with some tears and laughter. 

Oh and I received

happy mail too this week...yay me.

I am ready to start this next week, but once again I say

how did we get to the almost 15th of the month already?

Wasn't it just Jan 1st?

Today, I am super duper excited to share a brand new stamp

set from The Project Bin 

called Really Hungry

 It was so much fun to pick a sentiment 

and which image I wanted to use on this card.

The whole time, I was making it, Emery my

grandson was on my mind.

He loves his yogurt/pudding and he loves us even

when we are a little slow at getting him a

snack when he is sooooooo Hungry.

The yogurt containers were stamped using three

different stampin up inks and the paper is from stampin' up as well.

The dies are from Gina Marie designs. The inside scallops was sponged

using the three inks.

Jukebox Birthday

 Good morning!

Today, is an exciting day but one that has

me thinking the years have gone way to fast.

Our oldest son Tristan turns 22 today!

To me the years have just flown by

where he once was a baby, little boy, 

teenager, now stands a young man.

Who we are so very proud of him.

The card above has been made for him.

He is truly a Limited Edition!
