New Color Combo at Picture Perfect Creations

What a great weekend we had. My daughter finished her winter rythmic gymnastic's session on Saturday. We went shopping for my son Robin's birthday present. I ran to our church for a few mintues to pick up some paper from my friend Lisa's friend. Copper paper is something I have always wanted and her friend had some to my surprise when I asked how much Lisa told me nothing. Thank you so much for the gold, silver and copper paper ( your made my day). We then headed off to our Wetaskiwin Sports Hall of Fame inductee night. Some of the girls there I had not seen in twenty years and it was super great to hear about each inductee and what they have done in the community. What a great night. Enough about my weekend and onto our good stuff. Thanks too everyone who shared their creative spaces with us. They are all awesome and gave me some really neat idea's to try and finish mine off...oh now I just need more money *LOL*. As always you never let us down. So this week at Picture Perfect Creations Crafty Challenges we are on to our New Color Combo #53 Chocolate Chip, Real Red and Pacific Point. Fabby colors to work with that is for sure. When I pulled the colors out it popped into my head what a great colors for a boys birthday card. It so happens that I needed one. My son Robin is turning 12 on Tuesday and he needs a special card.

When I hopped on over to Phindy's Place their latest challenge was All About Animals. I had this My Favorite Things stamp that was itching to be inked. The Paper Players this week provided me with an amazing sketch to use for Robin's birthday card.

Here is my card. Now I had to stamp this image twice. Why you ask? Well the first time this cute rabbit was colored darker brown and it just didn't look right, so then I tried again and left him white (still not sure). Some more brown color markers are in order I think. Guess this little guy represents our snowy March. A little too much blue back to back would have changed the traingle to red and the ribbon to brown, but I had already glued it all down...LOL. I do hope he will like it.

Stamp: My Favorite Things; Paper: Whisper White, Real Red Pacific Point, Chocolate Chip; Ink: Memento; Accesories: Brad, Metal charm, lattice embossing folder (SU) and a Martha Stewart punch. marker (SU) and red ribbon. So come on out and join us for this fabby color combo this week. I can't wait to stop bye your blogs to see what you comment and share some love. Things have been really busy here this last week and this next week is no exception so I am sorry my comments have been so later than normal. Picture Perfect Creations is growing and we are just having so much fun, so please join us in another fun filled week.
