Guess it is better to happen before school starts.

I was able to see some very good friends
go to a wedding and see one of my aunties.
We are also in the process of moving
our middle son and his little family

Birthday Girl!

Good morning to everyone in blogger land.
Today, is going to be a bit of an emotional day
as our daughter registers for her last year of high school.
How did we get to grade 12 so fast?
It seems like it was yesterday that we walked her up
the steps to kindergarten. September 3 is when
it will really set in, hoping the tears stay at bay...LOL.

Today, is the last Monday of August
and I have whipped up this
clean and simple card design
using The Project Bin stamp sets
I just love these two sentiments together
and thought that it would
be fun to stamp it right onto this
fun striped pattern paper.
Use a punch and die cut for some splash
and some pop with the flowers and pearls.
Over at The Project Bin blog they have
inspiration for you Monday-Friday
so pop on over and see what my fellow
team mates have for you this week.

Thank you so much for joining me today,
Have a really blessed week ahead.

Sweet Friends Like You!

 Good morning!
We are back around to another Monday!
What??? Already half way through August.
Shaking my head saying "how did this happen so fast"

As it is Monday,
here is another brand new creation
word art stamps, theprojectbin.com, Thanksgiving stamps, Fall stamps, Autumn, clear stamps, sentiments, pie, pumpkins, friendship, thanks, gratitude, card making, card ideas, hand stamped cards, hand made cards
Wonderful sentiments and images
My card was made using some old punches
from Stampin' Up. Some scrap pieces
of designer paper
and Gina Marie Design Dies
to high light
I wanted it too look like it is in an oval frame.
Friends are super important
and
being in a frame with little banners
was my idea of
making that sentiment front and center.
A few pearls and it was all done.
The Fall like colors has been inspired by
our very, very cool temperatures this week.
At the higher elevations of the mountains
they got snow...yikes. I am so not ready for that.

Wishing you a phenomenal day/week ahead
and
thank you so much for poppin' onto my blog.

Thank you so much to everyone who sending me comments
it really does add a brightness to my day!

Phone Home

 Good morning to you!
We are on our last day of our long weekend.
It sure has flown by but what a good time
it has been. We shared laughter with friends and family.
Played cards, went swimming with our grandson
and his parents.
The weather was a little scary on Friday night
so many other areas were affected within our province
with hail from quarter size to grapefruit size.
We were very lucky to have been on the edge
of those storm cells.
Our hearts are with all of the town/cities
that have suffered so much damage.
The stamp set being used today
is called Milky Way
created by The Project Bin
I have used 4 sentiments,
3 of the stars
and our space ship image
from this set.
These sentiments remind me of the
movie ET and that is why I used them.
We all go through tough times
when we feel alone and don't call home.
We sometimes forget that others believe in us
and that they are here for us, we just have to let
them be there.
 I colored the image with C00, C01, C03 and YR16, copic markers.
Then added silver fine glitter to the top of the image.
The image was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
The stars are stamped using 3 different shades of
Stampin' Up ink. Paper is also from Stampin' Up
I have used a star embossing folder on the black
background, it is tough to see, it is from sizzix.
The Cloud embossing folder is from Darcies (??)

We would love it if you would join us
day of the week. My fellow teammates
have amazing creations that are sure to inspire
you each day!

Thank you so much for

You're Sweeter Than a Milky Way

Happy Monday to you!
What just happened to the month of July?
How is it possible that we are on the last Monday
of the month?
It honestly feels like this Summer is going at light speed.
No complaints, I am enjoying it.
Just maybe it could slow down a bit.
We had some exciting news this past week
Summer, our son's girlfriend was accepted into nursing school.
We are so very excited for her and the new adventure that
their little family will have.
Soon though we will not get to see our grandson everyday
or Robin/Summer
and we will miss them all dearly.
Another big change to our world and theirs.

It was so much fun to create with
this brand new stamp set from
called the Milky Way
It comes with a die, the stars, image
and so many fantabulous sentiments!

space, clear stamps, cute alien, stamps with matching dies, cie cutting, paper crafts, card making, theprojectbin.com
The cute image was stamped first onto
white card stock, then colored using
Copic Markers, R24, YG06, YG13

Each star is separate to you can use one, a few
or all of them like I did.
I used inks from Stampin' Up to color it up, using
sponges as well. Then I stamped the stars.
Some glue was used to add
Dazzling Diamond glitter to some of the stars
and the zig zag on the image
Next was to us a wonky circle die
to add dimension around
the image. The wonky lines made
me think about things over lapping when
travelling into outter space or here.
It is from Gina Marie Designs.
It was a tough one to pick a sentiment as
I love them all but finally
settled on
You're Sweeter Than a Milky Way.

Be sure to check out the blog each day
Monday-Friday for more inspiration
using The Project Bin Stamps.

Wishing you an incredible week ahead.
Thank you so much for joining me.

Have A Magnificent Day!!

 Happy, Happy, Happy Monday!
Today our household is blessed to have
my sister in law and my nephew visiting us
for a few days.
I love Summer holidays for this reason.

The stamp set I am high lighting today
is called
clear stamps, birthday stamps, girlfriend stamps, card making, flourishes, half birthday, birthday girl
such a fantastic stamp set!
I don't usually stamp the inside
of my cards, so thought it was
a grate time to change it up.
There are two stamps used on the inside.
On the front of this card, I used a heart stamp
and then Happy mail stamp inside of it.
The heart is colored with R29 copic marker.
The Star die is from Gina Marie Designs
and
The two dies underneath it are from Stampin' Up
The paper is also from Stampin' Up
