Life is a Journey....

Good morning! It has been a beautiful week filled with tons of sunshine and surprising temperatures.  It is amazing how the sun can make one smile and even though life is throwing you a bunch of curve balls how it can be the bright spot in your day!  Life has been throwing our family quite a few curves lately and somehow this sentiment on my card just seems fitting.

Over at 4 Crafty Chicks this week Melissa is our hostess with the mostess and she is supplying us with an amazing color combo.  Nice bright and fun colors for spring time.  It allowed me to break out some of my pattern paper that hasn't been used in quite some time.

Here is my card below, not to much fancy about it but I did break out 3 pattern papers, two layers of textures created with embossing folders, markers for the sentiment and pearls to add to the pop.  The card is crisp clean lines but is full of layers.  Hope you like it.
Paper: Whisper White, Early Espresso, Tangerine Tango, Rich Razzleberry and So Saffron (all stampin up)  Ink: Tangerine Tango and Rich Razzleberry; Accessories: Pop ups, pearls, two cuttlebug embossing folders.

I would love to enter my card into Make It Monday - #139 - Anything Goes

I hope you would hop on over to 4 Crafty Chicks and see what my fellow DT's have created, you won't be disappointed.  We would love to see what these colors bring out in you.

Have an amazing week!
This #craft quote is totally true!

  4. Lovely card, Tamie - and that framed sentiment is SUCH a good reminder to enjoy the journey! Thank you for commenting on my "You're Special" card; you definitely have brightened this somewhat rainy day (much needed rain, though!). I'm so glad to have discovered the 4 Craft Chicks blog/challenges, especially since you're "local." I live in Canmore, but Edmonton is still "home." Have an excellent day - hope the sun is shining in Millet!
