With Sympathy

Welcome March! It is hard to believe we are almost finished our first week but alas it is very true. Spring is on it way...yahooo :)  Well the last week has been a crazy one of incredible highs and some lows.  Last Saturday my oldest son Tristan and his Junior Boys High School Basketball team won Gold at Zones.  It is the first time in 33 years or maybe longer that our 3A school has won a championship like this. Usually it is won by the 4A schools. Truly something for them to be proud of.  One of the low notes was that I got a phone call from my daughters school asking me to come and pick her up because she fell and hurt her knee bad and needed to go too the hospital.  Kaitlyn didn't crack her knee cap but she has too much fluid behind it so she can't swim for two weeks, no gym, no dishes, no vaccuming and she has had to take two days off of school. We thought she might enjoy the two days off but alas she is going nuts. She is now walking with crutches which is a good thing but it could still end up being casted. We were blessed for sure. Enough of my babbling on to my DT card and a new challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks.

Over at 4 Crafty Chicks our incredible hostess with the mostess is Leanne. She has another fantabulous challenge for us.  I do believe Leanne along with my fellow DT's are the queen's of using these tools on their creations.  Welcome to our Guest Designer Christine for the month of March.  She is going to have tons of inspiration for you. Are you ready to find out what the challenge is this week?  Okay, I will tell you...because I just can't keep it a secret any longer.

CHALLENGE #132 - Die Cuts

On this card the Die cuts I used are from Heartfelt Creations (Decorative Butterfly).  My large butterfly and the corners are from this Spellbinders set.  My other butterflies are from Martha Stewart punches.  The stamp is from Verve.  The paper and embossing folder are from Stampin Up.  The gems are unknown.  I started this card with my peep Lori, which was a relaxing night of crafting.
I would love to enter my card into Challenges 4 Everybody - Challenge #15 - Anything Goes; Make It Monday - Challenge #130 - Anything Goes ; Papertake Weekly Challenge - Anything Goes

Here is a picture my bestie Lori posted on facebook.  It made me smile so much my cheeks hurt. I truly hope it doesn't offend anyone...but oh how I love glitter :)  Thought about going crazy with it on my card this week...LOL.

  2. I think it´s sometimes a little bit difficult to create a condolence card, which shows our sympathy in the right way. But you´ve done a great job! Your card is elegant and tasteful, and the butterflies offer consolation.....Thank you so much for taking time to visit my blog and your kind words, Renata xx
