Pearls, Pearls, Pearls at 4 Crafty Chicks

Hello, how has your week been going?  My week has been busy but mostly enjoyable so far *wink*.  Yesterday, I had a visit from my fellow chick Lori.  It was the first time in a while that we have had a down day and it wasn't because I was sick...LOL.  Lori crocheted on her fabulous color filled blanket and I cross stitched and crocheted.  It was a day filled with tons of laughs and girlie time.  You can never get too much girlie time :)

Today, is Thursday and you all know what that means.  It means over at 4 Crafty Chicks we have a new challenge up for you.  I am the hostess this week and the challenges is an easy peasy one.  Can you guess what it is from the title?  I bet you can!  Pearls are like a crafting girls dream of diamonds right?

Before this card was started, I had something else in mind but sadly my brothers mother in law passed away yesterday and she was an amazing person.  Our thoughts are with their families as they remember good times and try to deal with losing someone so special.

My card has a Pearl Flourish that was given to me by my fellow chick Leanne.  Leanne is the queen at using flourishes.  The sentiment is from a set created by Verve and the butterflies from Martha Stewart punches.  All paper is from Stampin Up and the extra pearls are from left overs from my stash.  So sorry that the pearl flourish looks blurry, I took so many pictures and they all looked the same.
I would love to enter my card into the following challenges:
Make It Monday - #123 Anything Goes
Challenges 4 Everybody - #11 Anything Goes

We really hope that you have time to join us over at 4 Crafty Chicks.  We sure love hopping over to your blogs and sharing in your creations.  Have a fabulous week. Thanks for stopping by and sharing in my post today :)

I leave you with this image from facebook.

  1. I love this!! I have some pearl/rhinestone flourishes but I never use them because they seem so busy. But you you have used them beautifully so the card is still clean and elegant. Thanks for the inspiration!

  5. The most difficult type of card to design but I think you set the standards high on this one. Your sympathy card is so beautiful and definitely shows love and support and sincerity in it. :) Nicely done.
Thank you so much for taking the time to link up your talent and creative ideas with us at Make It Monday!
    Happy Crafting...
