Everyday throughout the year people can struggle with stress
be it from family dynamics, work/school, bills, anxiety,
depression or mental health issues, abuse (mental, emotional, verbal and physical).
These struggles are real and can be a daily struggle for family, friends
co-workers and strangers around us.
Sometimes the outside appearance of happiness isn't what is going on
behind closed doors or on the inside of a person life.
These struggles can make it very hard for people to stay in this world through it all.
If you know of someone struggling, please reach out to them.
If you are the one struggling, you are valued, loved and
the world is a better place with you in it. There is only one you and you are precious.
You matter, you make a difference in the smallest way to everyone who knows you.
You make a difference to everyone who comes into contact with you.
Please reach out to someone you love, a friend or a stranger.

You do not have to hide your struggles
You do not have to do it alone!!!
We lost our son at the end of 2023.
It has been the hardest time of our lives.
Our lives will never ever be the same without our Robin
and our hearts are forever broken.

Men's Minds Matter Too
Your Words Matter, Don't Use Them As A Weapon
Robin was very passionate about his family
and projects such as Men's Shelters.

Good morning fellow crafter's.
Can you believe that we are already to spring equinox.
Longer days and all the new colors to pop up.
We have had a mixture of weather but the snow
is melting and in some ways, we are ready for it.
Other ways, we are not...LOL.
We have a brand new challenge over at Creative Knockouts
this week: Challenge #543 - Spring Is In The Air
Our wonderful sponsor for this challenge is
Prize: 2 Stamps
that can be used for so much.
BBQ Bill was colored up using Copic Markers.
The pattern papers came from my left over bin.
The Sun, clouds and birds are from Gina Marie Designs.
The stitched Rectangle Die is from My Favorite Things
Funny story, I went to put the cloud on and it was supposed to be straight.
Well wouldn't you know it the glue stuck instantly.
I made this card in honor of our son Robin!
His birthday is next Saturday. It is so hard not to have him with us and he is so missed.
As his special day approaches, I struggled with what to do about
his homemade birthday card he got every year.
So each year, he will continue to have a birthday card made
for him. They will be put away in his memory box for our grandchildren.
Robin love, love, loved to BBQ and to eat it.
So when making this card, I took his outfit colors from his Marathon that he ran.
He loved the outdoors at this time of year.
The 3 birds represent his kids and the heart represents him and how much we love him.
So to our son we will always celebrate you, you will always have a cake/card
and to honor you, blankets or scarves will be donated in your name.
BBQ Bill was the perfect image to color up and celebrate Robin's sunrise day
and to remember something he absolutely loved.
Our son is and always will be the best birthday present I ever got to bring home.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Addicted to Stamps and More! - Challenge #488 - Birthdays (birthday wish written on the BBQ)
We would love to have you join us over at Creative Knockouts.
Thank you for joining me for my latest creation.
Always Remember to Smile - Robin
Yep that's Me - Robin
Wishing you a beautiful day!
May you find something that brings you joy and comforts your heart.
Happy Crafting
