Good Morning fellow crafting peeps.  I am having a pretty good summer so far but man summer is flying by so fast.  Can you believe we are on the last week of July.

We have the easiest kind of Challenge this week over at 4 Crafty Chicks.  It is an ANYTHING GOES because there is 5 Thrusdays this month. So that also  mean we get to pick a Crazy Egg Winner to get there own special badge.

It was fun to break out the punch and dies. I used Tangerine Tango to stamp this fun sentiment which I am sorry, not sure which stamp company it is from.

Celebrate this Life

Happy 4 Crafty Chicks Thursday where we have a brand new challenge this week.  Our wonderful hostess this week is Lori.  It is that time of year that we all enjoy a trip to the beach, if we are lucky the ocean and playing in the sand in beautifully sunny weather. Lori is challenging us to SUN, SEA AND SAND for CHALLENGE #256.

The card you are looking at was colored all with copic markers and a black pen for the birds.  It is the first time that I have tried to do a scene.  A masking technique was used to create a back ground. The stamp is from Stampin Up. With the help from Leanne she walked me thru it.  The sentiment is from a Verve stamp set.

It'll Be Okay

Hey there! How is everyone doing? I am doing not to bad. Enjoying beautiful weather and honestly surprised at how fast this summer is going.  A total shock it could slow down just a little bit right? We were not home when all of the bad weather hit on Tuesday night but many friends and family had tons of damage due to a storm that came through with large marble size to golf ball size hail. So many things are destroyed and many will be picking up the pieces.  My heart goes out to them.

Creative Knockouts has a brand new challenge for you this week.  We are on Challenge #99 how exciting is that.  I am super stoked that we are almost on our 100th challenge.  Anyway getting side tracked again.  Our challenge to you is to do Paper Piecing (stamp an image and then do it again on pattern paper cut it out and paste it to the original image).  Our sponsor for this week is Craft Classes on line.

This is one technique I don't do enough but it is super fun to do.  My creation is above at the start of my post.  It is a clean and simple design. with lots of layers! It was a blast to paper piece the boots, jacket and umbrella with fun colors of pattern paper. I made this card with the bad storms that many communities have had Tuesday and Wednesday night.  Sometimes you just need to know everything will be okay.

Clean and Simple....Celebrate

Here is my newest DT creation above is made from Echo Park Paper. I used a Stampin Up marker to draw dotted lines.  A Stampin Up stamp was used with the word Celebrate.

Summer Time fun with the Ice Cream Truck

We are officially nearing the end of the first week of July! It has been nice here so far this summer but our farmers and the rest of us could use some gentle rains, it would be nice while we were sleeping and wake up to sun. Over all it is nice to have had a few days of cooler temperatures :). Don't get me wrong, no way I want that s*** back anytime soon.

We have a fantastic new challenge for you over at Creative Knockouts.  We are on Challenge #97 - Summer Fun.  What a easy challenge right.  My card above has ice cream  and yummy donuts.  Our sponsor is from The Stamping Boutique and they have graceously let me use the Ice Cream Truck image.  It was a blast to color up and you can't see it but I added dazzling diamonds to the sparkles.. It was so much fun coloring up this image with copic markers.  The pattern papers, brads and brown paper is also from Stampin Up.

In case you are sick of the Sun Tina thought it would be fun to get a head start on your Christmas card counts. ;) I am excited because I do believe this is my first Christmas card of the year.

I just love this cute stamp. there is glitter added to the hat, just wish you could see it.  The pattern paper is by Stampin Up, punch, ribbon and pearls. The image is colored with copics.

Adriana's Owl

Hello! As I sit here and type of my post there are dark clouds moving in. It looks like we might get some rain which is very needed. The thunder and lighting is beautiful.

Okay these are some colors that I just adore. I broke out pattern paper that well let's just say has been sorely neglected. It is sorely old. Also texture was absolutely needed on this right? So out came two of my embossing folders of circles.

My card above is made with one layer of pattern paper and then I punched out the another piece of pattern paper in the shape of a scallop and added some 3 cute little buttons.
