Snowflakes Just For You At 4 Crafty Chicks!

GOOD MORNING TO YOU ALL! I am so excited this morning...yep you heard it EXCITED!!! I will be getting my big bay window replaced this morning. We will be able to look out our front window and see clearly, no water!!! Yep EXCITED...LOL...LOL.

A HUGE HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all of our friends and family in the U.S. Here is wishing you nothing but an amazing long weekend and a day that will be filled with wonderful memories and even more to be thankful for.

Good Morning! Another week has flown bye and here in central Alberta it appears that winter truly is upon us...LOL. I was kind of wishing it would hold off just a little longer so here is to making the best of it with a snowman or snow angel or shoveling :).

We are onto a new challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks and it is my lucky week to challenge everyone. If you haven't guessed it by my title here it goes

CHALLENGE #64 - PAPER PIECING
cutting other pieces of paper to fill in spots on your stamp.

My daughter Kaitlyn and I made cards together with the same image. I was teaching her how to paper piece. She was having fun but well she had to take a break, she did awesome though and will probably finish her card this weekend. If you look closely there was more than one pattern paper used...LOL. One of my other Crafty Chicks challenged me to use #19 sketch from Deconstructing Jen. So Leanne, I met your challenge, now I will have to think of one for you...LOL. Thanks girlie :)

I hope you really enjoy this card. It was fun to make and I paper pieced her hat, collar of her jacket, mitts and boots. It was tons of fun.

Good Morning! It is the day before Remembrance Day and I just want to say a Huge THANK YOU to all of our men who are serving our country right now and to the veteran's and for those who have not made it back home. You will never be forgotten in my heart. You are hero's among men who have served to keep us safe! So Thank You.

Can you believe it is November 1o already? Well it is supposed to get super cold out with the possibility of snow *eek*. The last week has been rough but I am hoping that life is settling down a bit and my health is going on the up swing. Today is the my boys volleyball finals and thank goodness they are at home. Wishing both the boys and girls good luck. I will also get go to my Zumba class tonight...so excited. Enough about me and onto 4 Crafty Chicks.

Our creative hostess-with-the-mostess this week is Melissa. She is offering us up one fabby challenge. I never ever seem to have these cards on hand when I need them. My fellow DT's continue to give me so much inspiration each week. Thank you!
