Emma & Ellie with Wings

Can you believe we are already in September, school is ready to start and we are heading towards the Autumn season?  I have enjoyed my summer with family and friends, new memories made which is awesome.

Today, we have a brand new challenge over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends where our challenges are always Anything Goes. I would like to thank both of our sponsors for letting us use the cute images and the papers.

Another clean and simple design by me using texture from embossing folders.  I added some ribbon down the middle and felt like tilting the image. The image is colored using copic's and wink of  Stella on the wings. I made this card for a friend as a thank you for letting me stay with her and her hubby.

Sassy and Guest Designer Call

Good morning my crafty friends.  Welcome to my blog, where I have a brand new DT creation for you.  The card I am sharing with you today is for 4 Crafty Chicks.   For Challenge #314 our hostess with the mostess is Leanne from Banking on Crafts. Leanne would like us to do some Fussy Cutting for this challenge.  We are also looking for 3 Guest Designers one for each month October, November, and December.  Please type GDT behind your name to enter to become a GDT.

My image is from Sassy Studio Designs and is colored with copics. I am sad to say that they have closed up shop but at least I have some fun images to create with. Fussy cutting was done with scissors and a knife. Some embossing with Stampin Up folders, the die cut squares are from My Favorite Things.  The layout design is from Skipping Stones Designs.

Honestly, it is hard to believe that this is the last weekend of summer holidays and then school starts for another year.  I am however looking forward to meeting some new people where we live in Wainwright. Finally being brave enough to put me out there. Wishing everyone a very safe and happy long weekend.

Let's Get Sentimental!

Good morning! It is time for a Sentimental Challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks.  Our one and only Lori has asked us for Challenge #313 to create something using SENTIMENTS.

This challenge was so much fun.  Cancer has touched most of us in one way or another so when I found this sentiment years ago, it spoke to my heart (Verses The Art of Languages Expressed with Rubber Stamps). It tells us what cancer cannot do to us and our family. I added texture with an embossing folder and then did a triple bow on my handy dandy bow maker that Leanne and Brian gave me.

Please come and join us for Lori's new challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks.  We also have some really amazing inspiration for you to check out.

As usual at Creative Knockout's we have a sponsor and I would like to thank The Stamping Boutique for letting me use this image  Bubble Fairy. She was so much fun to color up and design with this image.

Note of Love

Today, we have a brand new challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks.  Our beautiful hostess is Lori from Caffeinated Creativity. She would like us to make a creation using our Favorite Designer/Company. It was a fun challenge but a tough one for me too because I love so many companies.  After lots of thought I decided that most of what is in my craft room is Stampin Up, so this is the company I chose.

The above creation is made with the following Stampin Up supplies:
Stamp: Lots of Thoughts
Paper: Night of Navy, Whisper White, Pretty in Pink and Bashful Blue
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Brick Wall & Chevron embossing folders, squares from the Window framelits, Banner framelits, Beautiful Wings Embosslits, Banner punch, Sizzlits 4-pk Lots of tags, Jewels Basic Pearls, Jewels Basic Rhinestone

Here is to hoping that you have enjoyed what I designed with the Stampin Up product in my craft room.

Looking for more inspiration our GDT and my fellow DT's have highlighted their favorites Designers/Company beautifully. We would love to see who is your's at 4 Crafty Chicks.

Cheers To You

The cute image you see on this card is from a Company called Star Stampz.  Her name is My Sweet Rose and she was so much fun to color with my Copic's.  They are our brand new sponsor this week over at Creative Knockouts - Challenge #153 Birthday Wishes.  I would like to thank them for letting me use this awesome image.
Prize: 3 Images

The stamp, butterfly, punch, black marker, black memento ink and Wink of Stella are all from Stampin' Up.  It is just a simple design and well colors are just because I really like pink.

Come share your Birthday inspiration this week at Creative Knockouts.

Thanks for stopping by.

Be Brave Enough to be Yourself

I am excited to share my latest DT creation with you from 4 Crafty Chicks.  Today, I am the hostess for this weeks challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks.  We are on Challenge #308 ALL THAT GLITTERS! So when you look at my creation above well I got a little crazy with the glitter. I do love glitter that is for sure, the sparkle just makes me smile.

The gold glitter and the washi tape silver and gold glitter is all from Stampin Up.  The sentiment is from Forever in Time and stamped with Memento.

Can you believe it is the 21st of July? Summer is just flying by but I am sure enjoying it.

Please come and join us for our latest challenge. We have some awesome inspiration for you.

Happy Anniversary!

Hello! Today is a brand new challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks. Our beautiful  hostess this week is Tina from Tina's Creative Place. Tina would love us to use FLOWERS for Challenge #307.

Flowers can be a hard one for me to use....*gasp*.  It is true, so on this creation, I went a little overboard on the flowers.  Truly I ogle over my fellow DT's/GDT on what they create.  The card above was made using Stampin Up punches, stamp, embossing folder and framelits. Wish I could tell you where the pattern paper came from but not too sure.

Please join us this week for our FLOWER Challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks.

My card is made with Stampin Up paper and it is colored with Copic's. It sure made me giggle trying to think of a funny sentiment to go with it. Wish the picture was better but you get the idea.

Come over to Creative Knockouts and show us what Animal Antics mean to you.

Thanks for stopping by.

Woo Hoo!

Welcome to my blog.  I have a new creation for you. This DT card was made for 4 Crafty Chicks where our beautiful hostess Leanne from Banking On Crafts.  Leanne for Challenge #306 would like us to make a creation involving SUMMER!!

My card above was made using Doodlebug Fruit Stand paper.  I was so excited to try and make this beach ball. The layout I found on Pinterest (Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking free downloads) is bigger but I made a smaller one to fit on a card.  A black stampin up marker (faux stitching), twine, marker and wink of Stella was used for the beach ball. Two circle punches were used for the woo hoo.

It is so hard to believe it is the first Thursday in July but we will be enjoying every day of summer holidays.

Be sure to check out our Summer challenge and my fellow DT's/GDT for more inspiration.
