It is an ANYTHING GOES challenge :).  Our amazing sponsor this week is Lacy Sunshine and they provided me with Eleanor and Pickles Reindeer Fun! Thank you so much, I just adore these images.

Merry Christmas with a Sketch

Merry Christmas to you, Merry Christmas to you and Happy Holidays! It is Christmas Eve as I type this and tonight we are waiting for my brother and his kids to get here to break out the games.  It has been a crazy, crazy week trying to get shopping done and I vow right here, right now, we will not ever be last minute shoppers again.  Still can't to watch everyone open their present and have Christmas morning breakfast.

I still can't believe that Christmas is here but when you got time we would love you to join us at 4 Crafty Chicks.  Lori is hostess this week with a very fun challenge! For Challenge #226 she wants us to use her wonderful sketch. I followed this one right down to the bow.  It was a blast to create.

It has been a long time since I broke out my stamps but felt that this is what this sketch needed.  The stamp is from Stampin Up and so is all of the paper and ribbon.
If you have some spare time to get crafty, please grab a cup of java and show us (4 Crafty Chicks) your craftiness.

From my family to yours please have a safe and very happy holidays!!

A Very Merry Christmas with a little Charm

Hello from small town Millet, Alberta! This past week has been crazy busy but oh did I get a chance last night to some very incredible kids play in the band and sing.  There is nothing quite like Christmas songs to bring cheer into your heart. Everyone is so very busy but it is so nice to see everyone stop to take a little breather and just be.

Lucky me, I am your hostess this week at 4 Crafty Chicks and for Challenge #225, I would like you to break out the Charms. Easy Peasy right??

My creation is below and I used Trim the Tree pattern paper, a punch and a stamp from Stampin up. The snowflakes are punched out with a Martha Stewart punch. It seemed that it was a struggle to find where to put the charm on and with what...so out came my sorely neglected brads and woo-la the rest is history.
Looking for more inspiration we my fellow chicks will not disappoint. Please hop on over to 4 Crafty Chicks to check out their creation. We would love to see what you create.

Thanks for pop in and have an fantastic day!!

"I Do", He Said....

Happy Thursday!! Today, I am off to Edmonton for my second workout this week :) It is supposed to be another day with beautiful temperatures. The snow is melting very fast, which can be good or bad with the rain that tends to come with it. Nobody likes freezing rain. The best part is this week my mom is driving me so, that means a little extra time together.

My fellow chick Tina is our wonderful hostess this week and she would like us to make a ONE LAYER creation for Challenge #224. If you need more inspiration my fellow DT's have rocked this challenge out over at 4 Crafty Chicks.

My very clean and simple one layer card below, was so much fun to create. At first it had me stumped but then I remember this stamp from a few years ago...yes it has been sorely neglected. It truly is perfect for this type of card. I colored it with Copics and forgot to write down my numbers.
Please join us at 4 Crafty Chicks for our one layer challenge and show us what it inspires in you.

Wishing you a day filled with smiles. Thanks for stopping by.

It's Beginning To Look Alot Like Christmas!

Hello! It is getting close to Christmas but we seem to be having some warmer temperatures here in central Alberta, that is melting the snow quite fast.  I like that the roads will be clear when going up to the clinic each week. My week so far has consisted of basketball game/tryouts (not for me...LOL, for Tristan and Kaitlyn), Christmas parties, and a little bit of Christmas shopping.

Creative Knockouts has a new challenge for us. For Challenge #67 - Tis The Season (easy peazy right?).  Our wonderful sponsors this week are from Inky Impressions and I would like to thank them for this cute image and sentiment to use this week.

My card below is 6 x 5 1/2. It is colored using copics and the paper is Razzleberry, Melon Mambo and Whisper White. The Ribbon is Elegant Egg Plant and Twine.  Hope you like it!
Come on over to Creative Knockouts to play, we would love to have you and see what this season is inspiring in you.

Have an amazing day! Thanks for stopping in.

Sweet Little Donkey!

Howdy Ho!! Today is the best day of the week because Thursday is next to Friday.  The weather here yesterday was super gorgeous and the blue skies and sun just made me smile. The count down to Christmas is on! How did December get here so fast.

Today, we are on Challenge #223 Animals. Our hostess with the mostess at 4 Crafty Chicks this week is our one and only Leanne.

My card below is made with a Mlejin digi called Sweet Little Donkey.  The texture was added by a Darcie embossing folder. This cute, cute image was colored with copics.  The little banner punch is from Stampin Up. My paper is from Stampin Up Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler and Bashful Blue.
Hop on over and join us at 4 Crafty Chicks...there is more inspiration waiting for you.

All That Glitters!!

Happy Thursday and Happy Thanksgiving to all of my family and friends South of the Border! May this be a time of enjoying everything around you. To my fellow Albertan's stay safe on the roads if you have to go out with all the snow coming our way.

Today, over at Creative Knockouts, Kelly would like to see Glitter on your projects.  Our incredible sponsors this week are from The Paper Shelter and I would love to take this time to thank them for letting me use this incredible image There's A Fairy In My Tea.

Another clean and simple design with this cute image. My image was colored with copics, the embossing is one of Darice. The brown paper is glitter paper and on the image there is A Wink of Stella...it is hard to see on here by I did my best to get a close up.  Looks awesome in person.

Please come on over to Creative Knockouts for more inspiration from my fellow DT's and to show us what inspiration this challenge gives you.

Thank you so much for coming by.  Have an amazing week.

Merry Christmas!

Good Morning! Wishing all of my everyone a Happy Thanksgiving in the USA. May this long weekend be filled with tons of love, laughter, relaxation and some crafting for the crafters out there. We are expecting quite a bit of snow but nothing like Buffalo. Tomorrow, I get to spend the day at home, playing catch up, it just doesn't seem like it takes very long to get behind.  On exciting news but not in a good way we think my internal batter on my laptop needs replacing....oy this last couple of weeks has given me some stress.  Advice remember to back up all of your digi's and pictures.

At 4 Crafty Chicks our hostess is Lori and she would like us to use Die Cuts on your creations for Challenge #222.

My simple card below has the Top Note die cut and my rectangle nestabilities. This fun loving image is from Bugaboo and of course I have added some dazzling diamonds, to the candy cane, bells and their hats.
We would love to see your creations over at 4 Crafty Chicks. My fellow DT's have knocked themselves out and I would love to the chance to hop on over to your blog and checkout out your inspiration.

Hope you like this creation and thanks for stopping by.

Make It Sparkle

Hi! I hope that this post find everyone doing well.  This past week my family sang Keroke which we haven't done in over a year. Even if we didn't sound great we were our own Rock and Country stars. On Saturday we watched Tristan and some of his friends that he has played sports with since grade 1, play there very last high school volleyball game.  It was very emotional, it just brought the fact that graduation is coming quickly. Our middle son and his girlfriend played Cranium with us and we had some very good laughs the past few days.

I am the hostess this week at 4 Crafty Chicks and for Challenge #221 I would like to see some SPARKLE on your creations.  Everything just looks a little bit brighter with a touch of sparkle right. My mom designed this card and was excited to share her spare snowflake with me to create a card. Her color combo is simply fabulous for this Christmas card.  The snowflake sure does sparkle and so does the brad. All of the products are from Stampin' Up.  Thanks mom we need some more crafty goodness time together. It seem like all appointments for us and then I fall asleep on my mom. It is so nice mom that you are a very talented crafter that I can learn lots from.
If you are looking for more inspiration my fellow DT's Leanne, Lori and Tina have amazing creations for you. I look forward to seeing your awesome creations at 4 Crafty Chicks.

Have an amazing day and here is a smile coming you way!!

Happy Crafting

Happy Wedding Day!

Hello! I hope this post finds everyone doing well! This past week has been a very hard one for me, emotionally and physically. It is so shocking how a year can fly by even when you are healing and mostly stuck at home.  Yesterday was the one year anniversary of our car accident! So I am trying to put everything into perspective and continue working on my healing process. Onto more happier things.

Our hostess with the mostess is our one and only very talented Lori.  She is challenging us at 4 Crafty Chicks to use Coral, White and Black for Challenge #217.

My card is below and I used two stampin up punches and the arrows stampin up embossing folders. Black pearls were used, along with a Die-namics die and two stamps from Verve.  It is another very clean and simple creation.  At first for some reason I struggled with these colors but next thing I knew it all fell together quite easily.

We would love to see you at 4 Crafty Chicks to see what this color combo inspires in you. My fellow DT's and our Guest Designer have some amazing creations for you.

Have a fabulous day! I am sending a smile your way :)

Cocoa's Pumpkin - Thanks

Hello friends! I do hope you are well this morning, afternoon or evening where ever you are. Yesterday was a bit blah weather wise, cloudy, rainy and a little on the cool side. Here is hoping today brings us some sun. When big yellow is out my mood is always a little bit brighter.

Today, I am sharing my second DT card but this one is for Creative Knockouts Challenge #59 Animal Friends.  Our fabulous sponsor this week is Sweet'n Sassy Stamps. My cute little image is called Cocoa's Pumpkin. It was so much fun to color this image with my Copic markers. Thanks you very much for the image to color.  There is still so much I need to learn about coloring but personally, the kid comes out in me when I do.  The image is fussy cut out and is surrounded by the border with the Filigree Frame Textured Impressions folder, along with a heart border, with a touch of bling.
My copic colors are Y11, Y15, Y17, Y24, Y28, W1, 13, W5, YR16, YR18, E00, E000, E04, E11, E31, E33, E35, R20.

There is tons of inspiration over at Creative Knockouts and truly you won't be disappointed by my fellow DT's creations, they are simply rockin.  We would love to see what our Animal Friends Challenge inspires in you.

May something bring a smile to your face today and thank you so much for stopping by.  Have a great day!

Hi! I am excited to share my newest DT card with you for 4 Crafty Chicks but first I want to tell you that last night was a night filled with some almost tears(tired not to do my ugly cry) and lots of laughter with my brother.  He took me to watch Tristan's very last home volleyball game of his high school career :) Now we just have a few away games that we won't see and some tournaments that we hope to see. When people tell you high school goes fast it sure does :)  Onto why you are here.

The hostess with the mostess this week at 4 Crafty Chicks is me and well there is no better time to break out a Happy Birthday creation.

My card is below and the yummy image is CupCake Cherry On Top from Bugaboo. The sentiment is Teeny Tiny Wishes, Banner Framelits Dies, Bitty Banners, window punch, white bakers twine, chalk marker and button from Stampin Up. A Martha Stewart punch, Wink of Stella.  When coloring the image, I used Copics: E25, E27, E29, Y11, Y13, R29, R59, BG05, BG07.

(Kn)OWL(edge)

Good Morning! Sorry for the late post...for Creative Knockouts! There were some problems with my image the outline of the image kept bleeding so it was printed 4 times.  The last one worked perfectly.  Of course there are times when you have a deadline and it doesn't work either with family problems.

Creative Knockouts is on Challenge #57 and this week they are asking you to use Lace/Ribbon.  You can use one or both your choice.  Our awesome sponsor this week is The Stamping Chef.  I would love to thank them so much for letting me use this fun image. The image is called Knowlege.

My card is below and has been colored with Stampin Up Alcohol Markers and Copics. I was totally stoked about the layout of my card unfortunately as you will see, I forgot the ribbon/lace.  In the next day or two, another image will be provided for you following the ribbon or lace or both challenge.

Okay my crafting peeps...now that I am more awake. Here is the same card missing the pearls but I chose to add Ribbon to my card just like we were supposed to do for our DT projects. The new card is below.
We would love to see how you use the lace/ribbon on your creations this week.  So please hop on over and show us what you got. My fellow DT's have amazing creations to share with you.

Keep smiling and creating!

Hi! Sunshine Anyone?

Good Morning! Can you believe that it is already October? September blew bye in the blink of an eye but for the most part the weather has been beautiful. Yesterday, being the 1st of October we enjoyed blue sky and sun in the morning but by afternoon it was raining and it had cooled down quite a bit.

Singing loudly....today is Thursday....YAHOO!! Leanne is our hostess with the mostess this week over at 4 Crafty Chicks and for Challenge #214 Sunshine.

Below is my card and well I had an amazing image that was colored up and ready to go.  All I needed was a way to add some sun to it since....shockingly there is not a sun die in my collection. Next best thing Lori said "Why don't you cut a circle hole into something and then dauber a sun in" So thinking that was a brilliant idea, is exactly what happened.

We would love it if you would join us at 4 Crafty Chicks for our challenge this week.  The chicks have some really amazing inspiration to share too.

Thank you for stopping by and have an fantastic week :)

You Got That Special Birthday Glow!

Happy Thursday everyone! Yesterday we watched our oldest son Tristan at his Sr. High School Volleyball Game and tomorrow will bring us out for our middle son Robin's football game and on Tuesday we hope to get to our daughter, Kaitlyn's first junior high volleyball game. A busy time for all of you as well I am sure.

I am excited to bring you my latest DT card for 4 Crafty Chicks.  Our hostess with the mostess this week is our one and only LORI. For Challenge #213 she would like you to use 3 different sets of pairs.  A bit of a tricky one but here is what I did....2 pattern papers, 2 punches and 2 pearls....easy peazy right?

This cute little image is created by From The Hearts Stamps (Birthday Candle Birdbrain).  I colored him with Copics: B12, B91, B93, B95, B97, Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17, Y18. The pattern paper used is from My Minds Eye Indie Chic and Early Espresso ink

My fellow Chicks have out done themselves on this challenge, so please hop on over to 4 Crafty Chicks and check out what they have in store for you. We would love to see what our challenge will inspire you to create.

Huge smiles are coming your way....pass it on, you never know when you might make someones day.
