Fishing Boats on The Beach

Good Afternoon! today is very cloudy here but no rain yet. First off sorry for my late post. Last night we were lucky enough to go and see the RCMP musical ride. It ended up to be a beautiful night and fun show. Unfortunately the last few days I have been suffering from severe headaches. This is why my post is late and why I should have it done up ahead of time.

I am the hostess this week over at 4 Crafty Chicks and my challenge for you is to make an Masculine card/project.

My card below is for my husband who just loves the water and his birthday next week. I tried to create something different with the layers of the card, I guess kind of like a camera. Not sure if it worked out but I hope he likes it.  The image is from Handmade Habour. The image was colored with Copics. and the embossing folder Argyle from Stampin Up.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Crafty Girls Challenges - Challenge #25 - Anything Goes
Mod Squad Challenges - Coastal Inspiration
Inky Impressions Challenges - Challenge #173 - Anything Goes

Thank you so much stopping by and remember we would love to have you join us this week at 4 Crafty Chicks.

Balloon Day!

Today is Thursday and that means 4 Crafty Chicks Day! I am sure enjoying this hot weather but it makes sleep at night a little harder. It is summer though so I won't complain.

I want to welcome Amy back as our Guest Designer for the month and feel like a smuck because I forgot it in my previous post.  Be sure to check out her blog Lil Cutie Creations.

Tina is our wonderful hostess with the mostess this week. She wanted us to use this color combo for Challenge #207 PINK, TURQUOISE and LIME.

For some reason I thought this color combo was going to be extremely hard but it was truly easy!! So on this day I colored the image it was crafting time with Chickie Lori. We was a blast visiting with each other.  Well the piercing tool got a good workout and I believe all the poking turnout.  I colored her with copics. It was fun configuring this layout and yes you are hearing this from me first...the flowers were fun and the little Sprigs :)  Hope you like it.
Recipe:
Stamp: Saturated Canary Stamp
Paper: Whipser White, Melon Mambo, Pear Pizzazz, Pattern Paper(??)
Ink: Memento
Accessories: flowers, brads, Small Garden Sprig Memory Box, piercing tool, circle hand punch and Chalk Marker.
Copics:
YG23, BG45, R20, RV04, Y26, E11, E13, E33, E35, E57

So come on out and show us your bright and bold colors. My fellow Design Team members have out done themselves again.

Have a great day and find some time to do a little crafting.

Sometimes On The Way To A Dream....

Hello! Sorry for the late post.  We had a very nasty, nasty storm that came thru last night and messed with our internet service.  I couldn't upload my pictures to where I needed them. Write my posts or get them to post at the right time.  Silly really but it did make me very, very, very frustrated. Must say, the computer almost went out the window. It was my fault really should not have been so late getting my stuff on.  Oh well, the good news it is on here now, we have beautiful blue skies and the internet is working, very slow but working.

We have a brand new challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks and our fabulous hostess is our one and only Leanne :) .  She would like us to use Pins for Challenge #206.

My card is below and the pin on this card was made for me sometime ago by Leanne. Her hubby Brian also made me a bow maker! I love it. I have always found bows hard to make and well I know there is some practicing to be done but I made one. Thanks for the both items Leanne and Brian.  The stamp on this image was given to me by my friend Leona. She went to BC and thought that this stamp fit me to a tee. It is beautiful and I adore the sentiment. I also needed to add some texture...who doesn't love texture? right?
We would love it if you popped on over to 4 Crafty Chicks and showed us your pins this week.  I look forward to coming and seeing what you create.

Have an amazing week and thanks for poppin in.

Fairy of Flowers

Good Morning! I hope you are having a great day so far! I think my eyes are still seeing dots after the lightening storm that blew in last night! It has been a busy week but the high light last week was visiting with my grandma, she is 92 and one amazing lady.

Today at Creative Knockouts for Challenge #49 we would like you to use Doily Fun. Our sponsor for this week is A Day For Daisies. They have graciously let me use Fairy For Flowers.  I tried something new and that was keeping everything black and white except for a portion of it.  Otherwise it is clean and simple design with the touch of a ribbon and a doily lace that my mom gave me.  A shout out to my friends husband Brian as he made me something to make bows.  Still working hard at trying to make them look pretty but This is way better than before.  THANK YOU Brian and Leanne :).  The coloring was done with Copic.

We would love to see you over at Creative Knockouts to see what our Doily Fun Challenge Inspires in you.

Have an amazing week and thanks for sharing my creation with me :)

Monochromatic with Purples

Good Morning and Happy first day of August! I am excited to show you my newest DT creation for Crafts Galore Encore Challenges.

Our sponsor for this month is Di's Digi's.

The challenge for August is an easy one.  Who doesn't love ANYTHING GOES! You can enter up to 3 times.  We all love coming to see your creations each month.

My card is full of layers and  thought I would try a monochromatic card using purples, now I know some of them look blue but they aren't *promise*.  I love this digi and got tryout my new butterfly from Memory Box.  She is colored with copics and I used some punches and spellbinders to help make my image pop. Who doesn't love to have some embossing to add some texture. It is one of my all time fav's :)

Looking for more great inspiration please hop on over to Crafts Galore Encore Challenge my fellow DT's have once again out done themselves.  Amazing talent.

Thanks for sharing my new card.

Have an fantastic week.

Hugs
