Highland Wish

Good morning to you!

I am in shock at August being half gone.

It is exciting, to pick our daughter up

and her boyfriends family at the airport tomorrow.

They have been away in Germany for a month.

We have been camping this month

with our grandchildren and their parents.

We splurged and got a paddle board and that has been so much

fun with our kids and grandson.

Not sure why we waited to long to get one.

Let's get to why you're here.

We have a brand new challenge for you at Creative Knockouts.

Our challenges run for two weeks so plenty of time

to share with us your awesome creations.

What is our challenge you say?

Challenge #501 - Anything Goes

Super easy for this time of year.

Our fantastic sponsor for the brand new challenge is

Hetty Clare Art

Prize: 2 images

The digi that has been used on my card is called

Highland Wish

So this cute Highland Wish image was colored up using Copic Markers.

The embossing folder is of clouds

Yellow pattern paper just reminded me of my

grandma's house (old country style) and card stock is from Stampin Up.

Other than the cloud layer the other layers are stitched

(Gina Marie and Your Next Stamp)

The sentiment is Penny Black.

Adding a few embellishments from Stampin Up

and bam this card is complete.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

The Crafty Addicts - Challenge #4 - Anything Goes

The Paper Funday Challenges - Challenge #56 - Anything Goes/Optional Twist - Great Outdoors

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 - Sketch 260

Please come and join us at Creative Knockouts

Make A Wish

Good morning to you!

Yesterday and today have been rainy.

With all the wind, we

sure can use the moisture for the farmers.

How has your week been?

My week has been a good one with

a few bumps in the road.

I sure am grateful that we have been having

play dates with our grandson.

It was also fun on the weekend to

get some more stuff organized and put away.

We have a brand new challenge for you over at

Creative Knockouts today.

Our challenge is an easy peasy one.

Challenge #405 - Anything Goes

Our wonderful sponsor this week is

Hetty Clare

The prize this week is 4 Images.

Thank you so much Hetty Clare for letting me

showcase this wonderful image called

Make A Wish

So many ways you can use this cute image.

It honestly reminds me of wandering around

my grandma's farm. Picking dandelions and blowing

them with my cousins and making oh so many wishes.

 Those were some of

the best days ever with my cousins.

Grandma's place was the best.

A country girl at heart mixed in with small town girl.

The image was colored with Copic Markers.

The charm has been put on with thread.

All paper is from Stampin' Up.

Also the image was fussy cut. It has been

a while since I have done that. It

was actually relaxing.

Please join us this week over at Creative Knockouts

for this fun challenge of Anything Goes.

It will be a joy to see your master pieces.

Everyone inspires me.

Thank you for that and for joining me on my blog.

Have an amazing day!

Happy Crafting,

Hugs,

xmas cats

Happy Thursday morning!

It is another beautiful day

here in Central Alberta with temperatures

at 0 degrees Celsius.

The blue skies and along with the snow

make for a very beautiful scene.

I can handle the snow with these temperatures (Hee Hee)

Today, we have a brand new challenge up at

Creative Knockouts

Our challenge this week is.....

#379 - Tis The Season

Our amazing sponsor for this weeks challenge is

Hetty Clare, Prize is 4 Images

the image used above is called

XMAS CATS

Thank you so much for allowing me to

high light this super cute image.

I simply adore cats and

my cats adore my trees.

When looking for paper to use

I went through a card box that my mom

had some of her Christmas papers in.

This one called to me because of the trees

and cat image. The layer behind the image

is the backing of the tree paper.

The Gingerbread charm used is also from my

mom's Christmas stash.

The stitched dies I used are from My Favorite Things (rectangles).

Prisma Colored Pencils were used on the image

as well as Wink of Stella (although, you can not see it...LOL)

My mom loved all holidays

but her favorite time of year was Christmas.

I am glad that some of her crafting stuff can be used

to share this joy with you today.

Please come and join us at Creative Knockouts this week.

It is an awesome challenge and I would

love to see what Tis The Season creations you have.

Wishing you a day that brings smiles

and

Thank you very much for stopping by.
