Challenge #60 at Picture Perfect Creations

Good afternoon to our out their in blogger land. Today is a bright and sunny day with some wind, just enough to help out with the pesky misquitoes. This morning started off like an old Monday morning...sleeping in and rushing to get everyone to school. Yes, I am still having problems with blogger. My post is late today because once again my pre-scheduled post was deleted. What a pain. Also I have been to everyones blogs to see their wonderful work but thanks to blogger I am unable to comment. Everytime I try it keeps sending me back to the sign area and at times it takes 3 times before it signs me in. Please be patient with me, I am seeing everyones inspiration and not being able to comment is soooo frustrating.

Today is a big day here at Picture Perfect Creations. We are now on Challenge #60 and Megan has given us a scrumptous color combo. It really was fun to work with. All of my fellow DT's made some awesome master pieces. This weekend I put on some music in my craftroom, lit a candle and set to work in my relaxation area. It felt so nice to just putts out my card.

I am entering my card into Clean & Simple, their sketch gave me some yummy inspiration. Crafty Ho's Challenge this week is to use TWINE (my twine is in the button, seriously I need to get somemore so I can keep playing with it).

So here is my card! Hope you like it. You can't see it on here very well, but the larger section of green before the MS punch has been Scored with 4 lines. At first I just didn't think that these colors would go good, but they are so fabby.
My stamp is from Verve, punch is MS, Embossing folder is Sizzix, unknown butterfly punch, corner punch SU, ribbon SU, paper SU, twine SU and ink SU.

So what are you up to on this Monday? So far my day has consisted of watching Ethan, taking Tristan to the chiropractor, filling out some paper work for soccer, getting ready for our soccer game tonight oh and doing some household chores. Soccer season sure does keep me and my family busy.

Wishing you a great Monday! Be sure to join us at Picture Perfect Creations, we want to see your inspiration. My fellow DT links are on my left hand side be sure to stop bye and see their work.

Cheery Color Challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks

Can you believe it is Thursday already? I just love a 4 school/work week. It is time for another challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks. Before I get to the our new challenge, I just want to let you know I stopped by everyones blogs but my new dilemma with blogger is it isn't letting me leave comments. They are typed in but it won't let me post them. So all 42 enteries last week are just yummy and full of inspiration.

This week our creative and very inspirational Lori is our hostess-with-the-mostess. She has given us such yummy and fabby colors to work with and they are Tangerine Tango, Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo.

Here is my card created with these fabby colors. The embossing folders are Cuttlebug, one scalloped nestie and the rest is all Stampin Up. I went with another clean and simple card, hope you like it. The colors reminded me of summer and it was perfect for a birthday card.

I am entering this card into the following challenge:
Techno Stampers - Monday Lunchtime Sketches- it sure helped my design my card and was perfect for these colors.

Here is the Monday Lunchtime Blog Hop area.

Top Tip Tuesday - is to use two or more stamps - happy birthday and my flower scalloped stamp. My tip- is when wanted to use more than one color on your stamp try the huffing technique. It works wonderfully.

Penny's Paper- Crafty Challenge - Here comes Summer! My card is has flowers and the yummy colors that summer brings.

Be sure to hop on over to 4 Crafty Chicks to show us what you got for our challenge this week. Share some love with Melissa, Leanne and Lori, their creations are fantabulous.

Picture Perfect Creations Challenge #59

Good mid morning crafter's. Sorry for the late post this morning. I have not been feeling very good, so it has taken me sometime to get this posted up for our Picture Perfect Creations challenge.

Today, my kids have the day off of school which is nice. We do have a soccer game being as it is a Monday too bad it is our last day of our long weekend. It is raining outside and really it is a welcome site even if we have to play soccer in it tonight. Maybe the skeeters will stay away...LOL.

Enough of my blah, blah, blahing. Megan has an incredible color combo this week that is soooo yummy. It was fun to get inky with and the idea of my card came so easily for me. My fellow DT's just rocked it out of the crafting park too (be sure to stop bye and see their work). So much inspiration it makes me giddy. The colors this week are Old Olive, Early Espresso and Marina Mist....doesn't that just get your creative juices flowing. Thank Meg for another fabby color combo.

While making my card I was thinking about how lucky I am to have such amazing friends and this sentiment just rings so true. To all of my friends I am blessed to have you in my life. My stamped image and sentiment are from the SU set Season of Friendship. The only item on my card not from SU is my pearls. It was fun not using my embossing folders this week but instead cutting out the flowers.

Now it is fun to be able to enter my card into a few challenges this week. Wee Memories challenge #57 is to STAMP IT!! (My images and sentiment are stamped). Paper Sundaes challenge #70 is to POP IT UP (my flowers and sentiment are popped up).

So today I will be doing some chores and making a point with everything getting so busy to get ahead on some of my DT work. That way if I get sick again, I won't be late. My nephew Cody has come for a visit and it is so much fun listening to Robin and him laugh. With it being a rainy day it is a great day to just light some candles, put on the music and create while being productive with chores *giggle, snort*.

Be sure to stop bye and check out our challenge at PPC, I look forward to seeing what you will be creating. Hope these colors inspire you the way they do me.

Thanks for stopping bye, I really appreciate you sharing my work with me. To my followers you are the best! Thank you.

A Wee Bit Late for 4 Crafty Chicks

Hello my fellow crafters. Our internet has just been crazy the last few days. It works, it doesn't, it works, it doesn't! LOL. I am in my own computer/internet time warp...sometimes I just want to throw them out the window...LOL. They are also putting power poles up in our area and on Thrusday we had no power for over 5 hours.

I am so excited to show you the card that I made for my darling husband. It was our anniversary on Wednesday and so this card is to celebrate him. He brought me some beautiful roses home yesterday and boy did they open up so beautifully. The colors were picked just from my head, so I hope you like them.

This week at 4 Crafty Chicks we are on CHALLENGE #38 - BRADS and I am so lucky to be the host this week. I used the bigger brads because I thought they were more masculine. My fellow peeps have created some really fantastic cards. Be sure to stop bye and see what they have created. All products on this card are from Stampin' Up.

I hope you will join us at 4 Crafty Chicks for our latest challenge! It is so exciting that we are approaching our 40th challenge soon. Come show us what you got, it will be fun to pop on over and see your creations. Have a safe and good long weekend.

Sketch Challenge #2 at Picture Perfect Creations

Good Monday Morning to crafter land! Well this last week has been filled with some hair raising moments! Blogger wasn't working properly for a few days which it erased some posts which had us all panicing and well me I thought I was loosing my mind...LOL. They also lost some of the comments so I will be back around to comment on blogs.

The wind was crazy here and literally raised the hair on your head, it was up to 50 km while we were practicing soccer last night and we had periods of no power. Tonight is supposed to be no different.

My thoughts and prayer are going out to the Slave Lake community here in Alberta as all 7,000 residents had to be evacuated from their homes due to wild fires and over 30% of their town has been burned down so far. So many other commnunities such as Whitecourt (home of our favorite DT Leanne) and many others are dealing with wild fires also.

Megan has given us a treat as this is week three here at Picture Perfect Creations. This is our second sketch we have done and boy did I like it. I want to do another one that is more accurate to the sketch itself but I was working with no power yesterday afternoon. I hope you still like it. Now my fellow crafters have done some truly inspiring creations for you so be sure to stop by their links on my right hand side to see their work.

Here is my card. Rob's cousin is getting married this weekend so I thought this layout would be perfect.

All supplies are from Stampin Up which helped me to make this wedding card.
My EF is a cuttlebug one D'vine Swirl.

I can't wait to see what you come up with for our sketch this week. So I challenge you to show us your inspiration...really so I can pop bye and say hi.

Today for me is filled of getting my lines set up for our soccer game tonight, babysitting my little man Ethan and getting a ton of house work done (now I just need my cleaning genie to help me...has anyone seen one?). One good things I would like to celebrate today is that this is my 300th post! Yahoo!

Wishing you all an amazing week.

Don't for get I will be back with the PPC winners tomorrow.

4 Crafty Chicks are seeing Spring

Hi there! At 4 Crafty Chicks we are working on Challenge #37 and our beautiful hostess Melissa is challenging us to make a creation that reminds you of Spring. It is so nice to see leaves finally budding on our tree's here in Alberta. The grass is starting to turn green too. Yesterday the wind here was just crazy and it is the morning again, but who an be unhappy about that when the tempature is at +22.

When I think of spring, flowers come to mind but then the other day I actually saw a beautiful butterfly and well you know after that I just had to break out the butterflies for spring. May is a month when I know of a few couples who celebrate an anniversary including me, so it was a great time to make an anniversary card.

I used color combo from Picture Perfect Creations (last weeks color combo). Creative Belli Blogs challenge this week is to use #117 using the "S" - stripes and spots with the embossing folder. Crafty Creations challenge is an Anyting Goes and Penny's Paper-Crafts is also a fun one of Anything Goes.

Products: embossing folder cuttlebug and MS butterfly punch. Everything else is Stampin up product.

My fabby friends have some wicked inspiration for us this week. I just love seeing what they come up with each week. So be sure to pop bye to see Melissa, Leanne and Lori.

I am so excited today I am going to go and take my first Copic course *woot, woot*. I will get a chance to learn how to color better.

Please come and join us 4 Crafty Chicks for our challenge this week. We just love seeing everyones creations and popping over to see your blogs.

Have an amazing week!!!

A New Challenge at PPC

Good Monday morning! It sure is good to be back. My darling hubby and I had a really great time in Niagria Falls. The weather didn't co-operate very much but all in all it was beautiful and we managed to walk miles and miles. Happy Belated Mother's Day to everyone who is a fabuluous mom and to all of those who hold a place in someones heart because you are like a mom. You all deserve to be celebrated.

So this morning I couldn't go to sleep until after 1 am and was back up at 4:30 am to get Rob off to the airport. Sure will miss him for a few days, my days are going to be super crazy.

So welcome to challenge #58 at Picture Perfect Creations. Megan has made another yummy color combo for us. I am going to do another card this week using these colors (LOVE THEM). I just know you all are going to knock our socks off with these colors. My fellow DT's have made creations that just make me smile and each one of them is a master piece.

I used my good old reliable embossing folders to enhance this card. Sorry the words just don't show up nicely. The Verve stamp says: Two roads diverged in a wood and I-I chose the road less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. - Robert Frost. Now once again it seems a clean and simple design is the way to go for me this week. Hoping you like what I created. Phindy's Place Challenge #54 is to use embossing and Wee Memories challenge #55 is "Crafts" - I used color, ribbon and stamps.

Today is another crazy Monday for me. I am looking after my little Man Ethan today and then tonight I need to put on my coaching hat, we have a 2 hour practice. Our first game is on Wednesday. Wish us luck...LOL. Sleep should come real easy for me tonight. Of course today also holds more house work to be done...wishing someone would send me a cleaning Genie so I could craft all day.....mahawwwwwwwwwww.

Come on out and join us for challenge #58 at Picture Perfect Creations I would love to see what you got for inspiration this week. Be sure to stop bye and give the rest of my fabby Team mates a well deserved pat on the back for their very inspirational creations. It is going to be fun to get back into the groove of things and hop on over to everyones blogs to leave messages.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing my card with me! Have an amazing Monday...you know what they say it only leads to another Friday :).
