Merry Christmas with Winter Fairy!

Welcome back! It is starting to feel a little like winter here in central Alberta, even though officially it isn't for quite a few weeks. We had a beautiful heavy frost yesterday morning and it was just stunning to look at with the sun glistening off of the trees.

I am excited to share my new 4 Crafty Chicks DT creation with you.  First, you need to know that our fabulous Tina is our hostess this week and she would like us to use a Fairy on a creation.

On this particular card, I used this awesome stamp made by Whimsy.  My image was colored using copics. It would be nice if you could see just everything a little more clearly for coloring and details. Alas, this is all I could do *wink*.  This paper is some of my favorite and works so good with this image.

Just Wanted To Say Hello

Good Morning! Yesterday, we had a good dose of rain which should green things up nicely and hopefully get rid of a bunch of snow mold. After having some warm temperatures on the weekend, the house feels a little chilly today.

I am excited to show you my latest DT creation for 4 Crafty Chicks. Our hostess this week is our one and only very talented Lori!! We are on Challenge #191 and she would like us to EMBOSS.

My card below used a technique called DEBOSS Using Dies.  I learned how to do this from a fantastic tutorial by Joy Taylor at La-La Land Crafts Inspiration and Tutorial Blog.  I used the Gilded Gates 2 and fussy cut my Milk Coffee image out to make it look like she is walking in front of the gates.  I need a little bit more practice at this new technique but I love the new way to use my dies.  My photo doesn't do this card justice but I can say I am very proud of it.

Recipe:
Stamp: Milk Coffee Digi, Kraftin Kimmies Stamps - Everyday Sentiments
Paper: Fresh Prints, Razzleberry, Coastal Cabana, Soft Suede, Whisper White

Blessing A Flower

Good Morning! I am super excited to be back with another DT card for Creative Knockouts! Yikes, I almost missed it since I keep thinking there is more time left in March...poof it is half gone.  Better smartin up and get myself in order...LOL. Happy Spring to everyone. We are on Challenge #29 - Things With Wings. Our wonderful sponsor this week is A Day For Daisies they were so kind to give me this image to use Blessing A Flower.

I had so much fun coloring up this image! My oldest son helped me pick out the colors for coloring. Like that ever happens and well we enjoyed every minute of it since he is 17.  It another card with clean lines, not texture other than the butterfly circle.  After seeing the image done and ready to pop up, the idea to frame it came to me.  Hopefully this looks a bit like a picture frame.

Stamp: Blessing A Flower - A Day For Daisy's
Paper: Real Red, Whisper White, Bermuda Bay
Accessories: white pearls, photo corner punch (stampin Up), dazzling diamonds, Butterfly Circle nestabilities and small circle nestabilites, glue pen, wax paper and dimensionals.
