Giant Mushroom

Good morning bloggerland :)
I am wishing you a very happy Thursday!
Well we had a bit of a productive week.
We celebrated our 24th Anniversary and planted a garden.
In fairness about the garden my hubby did it all for me.
Let me just say he did an amazing job too.
He has a green thumb as he has managed to
grow pineapples in our house here in Alberta.

Today, we have a brand new challenge up
We are on Challenge #351 - Embossing Delight
Dry or Heat Embossing
Our fantastic sponsor this week is from SheepSki Designs
Thank you so much for letting me color up
the Giant Mushroom image, it is super adorable.
https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/SheepSkiDesigns
The Prize is 3 images
I used Copic Markers to color up this super cute image.
I broke out my cuttlebug and sizzix folders
to emboss on the green and orange layers.
I then did a rectangle stitched die on the bottom layer.
Added some pearls and woola all done.

I would really love to see your amazing work
so please join us at Creative Knockouts for our brand new challenge.
Who doesn't love embossing right.

Thank you so much for joining me!

DAD

 Good, good morning to everyone!
Today, is an exciting day for my hubby and me.
We are celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary
and our 29th year of being together.
He is my best friend, my rock and the love of my life.
It will be a low key celebration because of the pandemic.
We aren't usually over the top for celebrating
but do like to go out for supper.
On to why you are here.

For The Project Bin today,
I am highlighting the Stamp set
clear stamps, word art, theprojectbin, mother's day, father's day, new baby, get well, special person, faith
Isn't this a fantastic set,
Look at all of these sentiments.
The first thing I did was make
my pattern paper out of three different kinds of
washi tape.
They are all silver but the one had a little hint of
yellow, so that is where my yellow layer came from.
Some of the washi tape is full width and other
layers were cut by hand.
Then I decided to leave a space on an angle
where I could stamp
Happy father's day
I think it looks pretty good.
I then broke out my paper
masked off the bottom part of the dad stamp
to just use the word dad.
added it on top of some layers
and woola a father's day card has been made.

Please check out The Project Bin blog, week days for
more inspiration and also the store.
You never know what kind of deals Denise will have for you.

Thank you so much for stopping by today,

This cute image above is colored using Copic Markers.
This next week is a busy week for birthdays.
Our grandson will be 3 years old on Monday
and my dad 90th birthday is on Tuesday!
It is going to be very tough celebrating at a
distance but I do feel very blessed that we can
at least do that. A few parties will be in order.

This image made me smile and think of my dad
he likes his tea and has a dusty rose chair that he has
had for 23 years. Loves his slippers and watching TV.

My favorite embellishments are pearls which you can
find in two spots.
The dies are from Gina Marie Designs, Stampin' Up and Rose Petals???
The banner was hand cut.

I would like to take an opportunity to wish mother's/aunties/friends/adoptive
moms honestly anyone who is a mother figure to someone
a very happy mother's day on Sunday.
My hero, best friend and my very loved mom
is spending her first mother's day in heaven.
She is missed beyond words.
Cherish each day!

Please come and join us at Creative Knockouts.

Happy Mother's Day

Good morning my friends!
What a blustery Sunday we had, lots of rain
and some snow. We do need the moisture that is for sure
but brrrr...it was a little chilly after the warm weather
we have been having. I hope that everyone had a good
weekend. Our weekend was pretty productive in
our house and at my moms.

It is my turn to share a creation with you
The Stamp set that is being highlighted
is called DEFINED.
The sentiments are awesome for Mother's Day
I tried different lighting to show the sentiments
a little better.
Two were used, it is a little hard to read with the ink
color that was used. The Top sentiment says,
special
['spe-shel] adjective
The person reading this

Happy mother's day on the arrow.
The sentiment on the inside says
mom
[mam] noun
The woman with eyes in
the back of her head
See also: saint
On the inside I used three simple layers to give
it a little pop to high light the
sentiment. It is from the same pattern paper pack.
I used a flower pattern because my mom
absolutely loved her flowers.
They brought her so much joy.
The pearls were just something special too,
as my mom also loved a little bit of bling on her cards.

I want to wish everyone a very Happy Mother's Day coming up.
It includes step moms, aunties who are like moms, adoptive moms,
friend moms and anyone who just is special to you like a mom.
It is a time to cherish and honor them.
We are so blessed.
Thank you Denise for making this set.

Please join us over at the blog to see more inspiration.

Thank you for joining me today!
Wishing you a safe and healthy week.

Hugs,
