Christmas Gnomes

Good, good morning!

The weather has been a tad crazy here. We have

had freezing rain several times this winter season.

Wednesday was no exception...the roads were

like looking into a mirror.

You know it is bad when semi-truck after semi-truck is stopped

on the side of the road or only going 20km.

Let's pray that it doesn't rain again today.

An early morning appointment that is a must to get too.

Our son Tristan has been dealing with so much

his truck was stolen while he was away working on a 24 days on shift.

So many frustrations dealing it and so much other stuff stolen from it.

Not to mention the damage to the outside and inside.

It is totally disgusting inside and heart breaking for him.

It makes  me so disappointment in people.

He worked so hard for his truck and looks after his

stuff.

I pray this week is a better one for everyone in the world.

Today, we have a fantastic new challenge up

over at Creative Knockouts.

Challenge #431 - Time To Be Merry

Our amazing sponsors this week

are

Laurie Furnell Ink

Prize: is 2 Digi Sets

Thank you so much for letting me showcase

this fabulous image called Christmas Gnomes

I simply just love Gnomes.

For some reason they just bring my heart so much joy.

Each image is just calling to be used.

The above card, I chose to used the Gnome holding the tree.

It reminded me of my dad

and how much fun he had putting up the Christmas tree.

It brings me the spirit of joyousness.

He loved the stars and everything about Christmas.

It was so much fun to color up the image using my Copic Markers.

The Stitched Star is from Gina Marie Designs.

The embossing folder is from Cuttlebug.

The pattern paper and paper are from Stampin' Up

Pop-ups were also used.

It is hard to believe that the count down to Christmas is on.

How on earth is it the 9th already?

I do look so forward to seeing what you create

and also getting into my craft room.

Please join us for this fun filled challenge over at

Creative Knockouts.

My fellow Design Team members have so

much wonderful inspiration to share with you.

Thank you so much for supporting me

and for joining me.

Hugs,

Katie and Outside Fun

Good morning!

We have had some very exciting news

this pass week.

Our middle son Robin and his girlfriend Summer

are now engaged.

It brings us so much joy and honestly

something wonderful to plan and look forward too.

The weather has been beautiful.

On Father's Day we were able to have a

picnic with my dad and enjoyed it.

We are kind of having a mini heat wave here.

Everything is getting really dry.

So if mother nature was inclined to have it

beautiful during the day and rain at night. I wouldn't be opposed...LOL.

We have a brand new and fun filled challenge for you

this week at Creative Knockouts.

We are on Challenge #407

and Kelly would like to see

some Outside Fun.

Our wonderful sponsor for this week is Laurie Furnell Ink

Our prize is 2 digi sets

The image, I used today is one from

 Katie & Kit Sunflowers

Thank you so much for letting

me high light this image.

This image reminds me of playing on the farm

with the cats and I did accidently pull some

pretty flowers out of the flower beds for

my grandma. It was so much fun to chase the butterflies

and to climb the trees.

The image below was colored using Copic Markers.

The stitched layers were made using My Favorite Things

Rectangle Stitched Dies.

The pattern paper is from Doodlebug

A butterfly punch from Martha Stewart

Paper from Stampin' Up.

We would really like it if you came to join us this week.

I look forward to seeing what our challenge of Outside Fun

inspires in you.

Thank you so much for joining me today!

Wishing you a beautiful day!

Hugs,
