Good morning fellow crafter's.

Where is the month of June going?

So far this month we have had a mixture of weather.

Some wicked storms and also some high temperatures

that made for beautiful days.

The wind seems to always be blowing and drying things

out, so hoping that settles down.

The last couple of weeks we have been helping

with renovations in our sons house.

Moving our daughter and her fiancé to their

new home. It has been good to have family time.

We of course celebrated their dad for Father's Day.

Our Robin was sent Heavenly Father's Day wishes,

as he is sorely missed by everyone. Robin is an amazing Dad.

We are just about to Summer time...Yahooooo!

Onto why you are here.

Everyday throughout the year people can struggle with stress

be it from family dynamics, work/school, bills, anxiety, 

depression or mental health issues, abuse (emotional, verbal and physical), bullying.

These struggles are real and can be a daily struggle for family, friends,

co-workers and strangers around us.

Sometimes the outside appearance of happiness isn't what is going on

behind closed doors or on the inside of a persons life.

These struggles can make it very hard for people to stay in this world through it all.

If you know of someone struggling, please reach out to them.

If you are the one struggling, you are valued, loved and the world is a better place

with you in it. There is only one you and you are so very precious.

You matter, you make a difference in the smallest way

to everyone who knows you.

You make a difference to everyone who comes into contact with you.

Please reach out to someone you love, a friend or a stranger.

We lost our son at the end of 2023.

It has been the hardest time of our lives.

Our lives will never ever be the same without our Robin

Hello, Hello and welcome to my blog!

How did we get to the first Thursday in August already?

Kind of feeling like July only took about 5 minutes.

We have had the pleasure of camping with our grandson, our son 

and his girlfriend this week. The only thing missing was our

other two kids.

Here is to hoping our camping will become a family tradition with

Emery every summer.

Hello, friends! I must apologize for my late post for Lil Patch of Crafty Friends. It was a crazy busy week and with two days of musicals with our daughter and then a weekend end of Provincial Handball, I forgot to schedule my post and left it in draft form (thought I was all organized) Both musical days were very successful and the girls finished 7th place in the Province. A successful week/weekend it has been. Any time now we will also have our first grandchild. Must say it is sooooo very exciting. Okay, let's get to the fun stuff.

The Guinea Pig image was colored using Copic's and using Taylored Expressions pattern paper. Flowers were added to highlight the oval dies (MFT), the lattice die (Unbranded), the letter die (unbranded) was used to craft on as well, I thought it needed a little bit of something extra.
