Happy, Happy, Happy 4 Crafty Chicks Thursday! Today, I am your hostess and my challenge for #364 is to break out your Sequin's.  They have sadly been ignored in my crafting drawers so thought that it was time to break them out and use them again.

Yesterday was a big, big day for someone who is amazing, loving, caring, hard working and thinks of others. My mom is my hero and my hero turned 70 yesterday! I am really hoping that it was a very special day for her and one that she will enjoy and remember forever.

August Guest Designer, Lyn!
Please come and join us at 4 Crafty Chicks, we would love to see your Sequin's creations.

Our wonderful sponsor this week is  Kelly -  Prize: $25 + CTMH Gift pack. Thank you so much Kelly for being our sponsor this week.

My card above is made with this cute image. It makes me think of images that my mom just adores with puppies. Something that she would have created in her days of doing Ceramic's. The card is colored using Copic Markers, Doodlebug flowers, ribbon, brads and buttons, Pattern paper (BoBunny, Talyored Expressions), Stampin Up Twine.

Please come and join us at Creative Knockouts this week. My fellow DT's have out done themselves again with their furry friends creations.

Thank you popping over to see my card.

Have a really blessed day!

We have an amazing new challenge for you this week at 4 Crafty Chicks. It is mind blowing that we are in the first week of August, "what?". Our beautiful hostess is Leanne and for Challenge #362 she would like us to create something Masculine.  We also have our brand new Guest Designer for the month of August and her name is Lyn from Crafty Lyn's Blog. Welcome to our hen house.

My card above is made using Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Whisper White Stampin Up Paper. The pattern paper is by BoBunny. The stamp I used is from a retired stamp set from Stampin Up called Bareback. I thought it was the perfect image for a masculine card with these colors. It had me thinking of my brother who is a horse nut. I sponged around the image with Cajun Craze ink.

We would really love to have you join us this week with a masculine creation.
August Guest Designer, Lyn!
Thanks for joining me today!

We are on Challenge #203 Sew It Up - Real or Faux Stitching. I decided to do real stitching on my card on the right-hand top and bottom. I do believe my sewing skills need some practice. (Hee Hee).
I colored the image with Copic markers and stamped the sentiment from Paper Smooches (thank you, Lori). The flowers were deep in my stash.

With Sympathy!

It is a pleasure to share a brand new card with you. Nance is our hostess at 4 Crafty Chicks for Challenge #354. Nance would like us to use a Triple Mat Technique to make a With Sympathy Card.

I am trying this technique for the first time so what a great challenge. It took me a bit to find what stamp to use to make it. It is amazing to see so many stunning cards using this technique. I am very sorry about my picture it is blurry once again. Another tutorial, I will have to find (hee hee). It has been a long time since I have actually stamped without my Misti, that it took several practices to get something decent.

My card was made using Stampin' Up punches, Sweetbriar Rose and Teeny Tiny Wishes. The image was colored using Copic Markers. The paper is also from Stampin' Up.

Please join us for this fun-filled challenge. Looking for more inspiration my fellow chicks, have stunning creations.

Thank you!
