4 Crafty Chicks with Challenge #9 and Prize Week!
I am soooooooo excited that we are on challenge #9 and the hostess-with-the-mostess is LORI!!! What is the challenge? Here it is: CHALLENGE #9 (4CCC-#9) is to USE PUNCHES/DIES on your creation! Love, love, love this challenge Lori...thanks so much for the fun! Now this week is an extra special week as it is a prize week, so please come join us and show us your inspirations!!
On my card the dies I used were Spellbinders (circle & scalloped circle), Stampin Up scallop border punch and their tiny circle punch (markers were copics and SU)! Oh and the dazzling diamonds and rub-ons are some of my fav's. I have been wanting to use this image that Lori gave me for my birthday for way to long.... Do you think it is cute?
I new which paper to use right away, but after doing 2 1/2 hours of math with Kaitlyn, my brain could not focus on a design. Card Patterns is one of my favorite sketch challenge blogs. I did change this one up just a little bit...hope that is okay. My image is centred and not on the bottom side and instead of a tag...well a scalloped border was calling me and I also turned my card. thanks for the awesome sketch ladies and all the DT's have beautiful work.
Other challenges my card will be entered into:
Fourth Friday Challenge - Holiday Cards
Top Tip Tuesday - Anything Goes - my tip is to emboss your image before coloring! It just helps make it pop, no smudging and coloring a little easier.
Delightful Challenges - It's beginning to Look Alot Like Christmas
Wee Memories - Cute Holidays
The Crafty Pad - Christmas Theme
We are so excited each week to bring you challenges and we really hope you will hop on over to 4 Crafty Chicks and play! This week is also a prize week so come on and join us! Now my fellow DT's have really rocked out this Punches/Dies challenge to see what they used or did here are their links.
Melissa- My Paper Obsession
Lori - Inkingly Yours
Leanne - Banking on Crafts
I can't wait to see what you create for us. Each week it is fun to learn something new by going to your blogs to see inspiring creations. One last challenge site to check is Picture Perfect Creations the newest color challenge is up!
Thanks for stopping in and may your Thursday bring you tons of laughter :)

It's All About Inspiration at 4 Crafty Chicks
Well while trying to work on my card for this week, it became a week of realization that I MISS MY CRAFT ROOM! :(. We have been working on my sons room so right now he is sleeping in my craft room. When is your favorite time to craft? Mine is early in the morning or later a night apparently and both times he is sleeping in there *sigh*. How did I not know this before? Enough of my whining and onto.......
Yep, I totally mean our Challenge this week at 4 Crafty Chicks 4CCC-#7 which is brought to by our chick Melissa. What is the Challenge you say! Well to find inspiration from this picture! Now I found this very challenging just because I thought of a pumpkins and sea shells, but don't own any to stamp...LOL. Thanks Melissa for supplying us with an amazing challenge this week.
I needed something quick for a sketch since my days have been too busy to design my own and this perfect clean but simple sketch is from Inspirational Card Sketches. Each week they have some amazing sketches. Thanks for your inspiration girls.
Here is my creation from this amazing picture. Bella's are so darn cute and well while visiting Lori, I changed my Bella friends out for this perfect stamp of hers. Thanks!!!

Fun, Fun, Fun Colors For Challenge #34 at PPC!!
So after coming home from being thankful and oh having just a tad bit to much to eat yesterday, I needed to get to work with these wonderful colors, it was fun but boy was I tired (turkey does that too me). Of course my brain went right back to spring and butterflies. Maybe with the beautiful weather we have been having, I am struggling to accept that Fall is really here...LOL. Megan this combo is awesome!!
Can you believe that we are already on Challenge #34 for Picture Perfect Creations...how exciting is that. *WOOT, WOOT* Megan :)
Challenge Blog Hopping is so much fun! On my look out I stopped by the The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge Blog where they had this amazing sketch.
Here is my card for this week: All paper is SU, ink & brads, spellbinders and D'vine Swirl Cuttle bug and the stamp is from Verve.
Wishing you a fabby holiday Monday if you don't have to work and if you do a speedy day! For me today will be filled with finishing our deck, laundry and some other cleaning (thank goodness on Saturday I got my flower beds cleaned out *wink*). Come join us this week for this awesome color combo and don't forget to share some love with the other DT's. Their work rocks the house again this week!!!

Distressing with 4 Crafty Chicks!!
Our chick Leanne is challenging us to use DISTRESSING ON OUR PROJECTS! You know you always think about inking or ripping for distressing but there are other ways too like scissors and sand blocks (all 4 were used on this card). Sometimes we just use distressing without thinking about it and then when you think about it it can be a struggle (for me it was kind of like that but it worked out I think???). Here is my creation for this week!
Things have just been crazy here and my brain could not think of a layout so I went blog hopping and found this cute sketch by Julee at Mojo Monday! I think it worked perfect with the Thoughts and Prayers stamp from SU.
Love the colors for my card and they are brought to you by the Color Throwdown...thanks ladies for some fabby inspiration. Sorry the Vanilla fades into my counter tops...LOL.
This card is also being entered into Sweet Stampin' Challenge Blog - punches (they are a super bunch of gals check them out). Fresh Brewed Challenges - anything goes/girly challenge. It has been a challenge blog I have wanted to join for a while now and lucky me I can this week (hop on over to see them too).
Don't forget to hop on over to check out the other chicks creations: Leanne, Lori and Melissa
We all look forward to seeing your creations and checking out your wonderful blogs! If you get a chance share some love too we appreciate comments. This week will be exciting and we hope that you will continue to join us and share your inspiration with us. Can't wait to see if there are other distressing techniques out there too learn!
Today is another beautiful Fall day and will be a busy one...but I hope you get to take sometime to craft with your favorite drink, music or a friend or all three *wink*. Have a wonderful day!!

Flowery Fun and PPC #33
This week at Picture Perfect Creations Crafty Challenges we have a wonderful color challenge for you! Now my card came together fairly fast because I had saw a similar card in the SU catalogue! I have changed it up quite a bit so I feel it is my own design :) These colors are so pretty and you can really work your magic with them; my fellow DT's have made some wicked cards.
Here is my card: The pearls are navy, garden gree and white, rub-on for sentiment, Martha Stewart Punch and mini flower SU punch and linen thread.
Can't wait to get back on here to see your cards and I hope that you will share your inspiration with us at PPC! Have a wonderful Monday! I am off to look for railings for my deck and so that means driving in the rain today!!
