Girls Just Want To Have Fun!!

As I type up my post tonight, I am overwhelmed with feelings and I must add quite a few tears. On Friday night is the first part of our oldest sons Graduation from grade 12.  Time really has flown by so fast from a baby to an adult in no time.  We are very proud of him and the young man he has become.

Over at 4 Crafty Chicks we have a brand new challenge for you.  Our wonderful hostess is Lori. For Challenge #248 she would like us to create something that reminds us of SUMMER. My card above is made mostly of pattern paper from doodlebug.  I am going to be so sad when this paper is gone, I just love, love, love it :) Nothing like a nice cold popsicle on an beautiful summer's day!  I remember several of my friends from Junior High singing Girls just Want To Have Fun by Cindi Lauper. Summer holidays were always the best, enjoy the taste of fresh fruit, sun, sand, water and friends.

Come on join us for basically Summer in May, how does it inspire you? I look forward to seeing what you have to share with us at 4 Crafty Chicks.

  1. I know high school graduation is a mix of happy and sad feelings! Be proud of the young man you have raised and excited for the next phase of his life! Remember the cute little boy with happy tears and celebrate not only his accomplishment but yours as well! Your card is just perfect for those hot summer days! There is nothing quite like an ice cold Popsicle melting down your arm! LOL! Big Hugs to you my friend!
