I want to personally thank Victoria, Christy and Dee for being our Guest Designers for the fall they shared some awesome inspiration.
This week we are having our Second Blog Hop, looking for 3 new Guest Designers and we each have prizes on our blogs. We also have an amazing challenge this week and our most talented hostess with the mostess is Leanne. She has issued us a fabulous challenge which I will get to in a moment.
Here’s the low-down on the Blog Hop:
Each Chick has graciously donated a prize to be given to one lucky Blog Hopper who leaves a comment on the Chick’s blog. The winners will be chosen by each Chick using Random.org.
To be eligible to win Blog Hop prizes, participants must: (a) become a follower of the 4 Crafty Chicks blog; (b) leave a comment on each of the Chicks’ blogs; AND (c) leave a comment on the 4CC blog.
Would you like to join the 4 Crafty Chicks as a Guest Designer? If you participate in this week’s Sketch Challenge and would like to be considered for February, March or April's Guest Designer positions, please put (GDT) after your name when submitting to inlinkz – please remember that you will be committing to a month of challenges (which you will receive immediately after being chosen as Guest Designer.)
Now onto our fabulous challenge from Leanne!
CHALLENGE #71 - SKETCHES
(first one is a scrapbook layout and the second one is a card) They are awesome just pick one or do both if you want :)
Scrapbook sketch
Card sketch
Here is my card. This card is for my son who is turning 15 on the weekend. For the three lines on the bottom right, I chose to use 3 staples. It is so hard too see but I figured they were a good touch for a young man. Loved these colors and the blue jean look. Stampin Up stamps and square scalloped punch, cajun craze ink, twine, staples and Martha Stewart punch. It is a fairly clean and simple card.
The order of our blog hop is:
Leanne
Melissa
Tamie (you are here)
Lori
4 Crafty Chicks' Blog
Our next stop is Lori's (Inkingly Yours).
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges where there is great inspiration.
Make It Monday - Anything Goes
The Pink Elephant #129 - Anything Goes
Top Tip Tuesday#67- Anything Goes ( my tip for my card is that if you don't want to rip or ink your paper to distress, a good old fashioned pair of scissors will do, I distressed on my left hand side of the card).
Paper Sundaes #101 - Something Old and Something New (my Lovely as a Tree stamp and birthday stamp are old and my new is the paper and twine).
Thank you so much for everyone for stopping bye to take a peek, I really appreciate you stopping and for any comments left. You all help me to be a better crafter.
