Wahoo! A New Challenge at PPC

Welcome to my blog! I hope you all had a good weekend. The weather was gorgeous this weekend and we spent time walking and doing some clean up. Yesterday, we were lucky to have BBQ ribs with my parents and oh my hubby did a wonderful job. Well I must say that my dad and I didn't fair to well playing crib against my mom and Rob last night but it was a lot of fun. So after everyone left I went down stairs for some much needed time in my craft room. I am not sure why when you are trying to organize you make a bigger mess, sometimes it seems overwhelming. Being a head of the game for my DT cards for Picture Perfect Creations was going super great but alas not anymore *wink*, so I started making a card and went to look at my fellow DT cards to see what they did and started wondering to myself....why is there only two for tomorrows post...wow it must be a super busy weekend. The joke was on me as I was doing the wrong color combo...LOL. My fellow DT's always have so much inspiration to share and I just love seeing what they create each week.

Megan has a color combo that is sure to challenge you this week. Well it did me anyway...LOL. Over at Picture Perfect Creations we are on Challenge #73 and our colors are Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Basic Black.

Good old embossing folders sure helped me with this card I think. I have to say the Calypso Coral threw me off a bit so I went with flowers and butterflies. Stampin Up punches and the butterflies are from a Martha Stewart punch.

With these colors I needed a sketch so I headed on over to Clean and Simple to find one and oh did I. Great inspiration over there. The other challenge I would like to enter this card into is Make It Monday - Anything Goes.

So come join us at PPC and show us what these colors inspire in you. Be sure to check out my fellow DT's there creations are awesome! Can't wait to see what you created.

What does your Monday hold for you? Me I will be doing clean up, driving my hubby to the airport and hopefully doing some more work in my craft room.

Happy Monday! Thanks for stopping bye.
