Hello to my crafting *peeps*! Well am back from my vacation now and it was so wonderful. The weather wasn't as nice as we ususal get when we go out to Victoria Island but being with family made it all the better. The best part was no pesky mosquito's. While we were away their was a major storm in Millet where we live. We have had some damage to our roof, siding and our big bay window leaked and has water in it. We spent yesterday cleaning up what we could and now it is a waiting game with the adjusters to come and look at it. So this morning I came on here to see if my pre-scheduled post posted and to my surprise it didn't. Go figure...LOL. Everything looked okay but it was super earlier in the morning when I did it and well....this would have been posted for the end of August...boy must I have been tired. So here is my updated version.
So on to my original post :)
Welcome to another 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge this week. Our creative hostess for this week is our beautiful Lori. Boy oh Boy! has she got a good challenge for you. Without further adieu here is her fabby challenge:
CHALLENGE # 48 - GET YOUR BLING ON!
Who doesn't love bling...it is so much fun to use and just gives that finished look or the pop you need for an incredible card.
Here is my card for this week. I decided to use my new bling that could actually be used for a stapler, computer, making a jewelry box but I used it for my card this week. I even have a little bit left over. As you can see I broke out my embossing folders again...LOL. A little withdrawal I think from not using them. I picked the bright green because it made me think of a wedding color from my sister-in-laws wedding. I used individual gems from Stampin' Up for each of the flowers which is a Martha Stewart punch. It is a simple but I hope it makes an effective card.
Please come join us this week for a easy and fabby challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks. Lori, Leanne and Melissa have done amazing things with this challenge this week. Can't wait to see what you create.

Back to a Color Combo at Picture Perfect Creations
What amazing colors we have for you this week at Picture Perfect Creations. We welcome you to come and join us. Show us what this yummy color combo that Megan gave us inspires in you. The colors this week for challenge #66 is Night of Navy, Crumb Cake and Whisper White.
This card came together really fast for me. I liked using the colors and the stamp is from my friend Leanne. This Fleur is just amazing. I used a spellbinder and then used bling around it to spruce it up a bit. I didn't put a sentiment on it because I felt that it could be for anything and sometimes it is just fun to say it on the inside.

Challenge #47 at 4 Crafty Chicks
Hello to my fellow crafting peep's. Can you believe that we are already on the 3rd week of July. You know what the 3rd week means it is my turn to be the hostess at 4 Crafty Chicks. July is usually the month of weddings. With no exception I will be getting ready to attend my cousin's wedding on Monday. So what possibly could be our challenge be this week?
Here is my card. This is a new stamp set that I bought for this challenge. I love the way it inks up. I needed something in the corner and have never used the swirly bling before but I think it just could be my new addiction. My friend Lori suggested it and loaned me some of hers and it truly adds the perfect touch to the card. Thanks Lori. I figured no sentiment was needed.
I can't wait to see what style of wedding card, scrapbook page or gift that inspired you. Lori, Leanne and Melissa truly made some gorgeous and fun loving wedding cards, please come and check them out.
Thanks for stopping bye and sharing my card with med. Please come and join us at 4 Crafty Chicks we would love to have you.

It's Time for A Specialty Challenge at PPC!
Hello my friends. Can you believe that we are already onto the 3rd week of July? You know what that mean's here at Picture Perfect Creations. You Got it! So here is our Specialty Challenge for you.
Specialty Challenge #8 - Recipe: 2 Ribbons and 3 buttons
Easy Peasy :)
Here is my card! I used a paper pack from Stampin Up that was in my lost treasures piles. I think I need to go through my use something new and old a little more often...LOL. I don't know the stamp set but Leanne was nice enough to let me use it for my card. It is hard to tell but I used black satin ribbon and the flower colored ribbon over top. My layout was inspired by a sketch from Techno Stamper Mary Jo Price TSSC #124 (for some reason I can't upload it sorry).

Bring on the Color at 4 Crafty Chicks
Welcome to challenge #46 at 4 Crafty Chicks. Our color inspired hostess this week is Melissa. She has a bright and fabby color combo for us. The colors are Basic Black, Tempting, Turquoise, Daffodil Delight and Poppy Parade. The girls have come up with the most wonderful inspiration for you. Don't these bright colors just make you giddy and thinking about summer and well so many other idea's.
Her is my card. I used black and white twine to help make my poppy parade border pop and to cover the line. As you can see some more pattern paper are you shocked...LOL. Lori let me use her new triple layer flower punch and I think it worked really great with these colors. This sentiment is one that I just adore and find true. Sometimes a good reminder is in order. The pearls on the corner was just the pop it needed.

Color Combo #65 for PPC
Happy Monday to our blogger friends. I hope that your weekend was a perfect weekend.
Megan has given us yet another challenging color combo for #65 here at PPC. I had no problem with the regal rose, real red or the basic black. What threw me a bit out of my comfort zone was the River Rock.

I used the new punch from Stampin Up (thanks Lori) which I feel adds some elegance to this card with the black pearls. The D'vine Swirl adds a pop behind the scene and Leanne's (thanks) spellbinder gives the unique look for my sentiment.
My fellow DT's have made some lovely master pieces for this color combo challenge. Come on out and show us what you got, we would love to see it. Don't forget to share some love with our awesome DT's.
It is so much fun to be able to use craft items that you don't have. Thanks girls for the fun.
Have an amazing week.

New Challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks :)
Hello to our crafty friends. Happy belated 4th of July to all of our friends in the United States. This is a week for celebrating for sure. School is out and I will be running my oldest son to his Basketball camp all week. He is really pumped about it though.
So our inspiring and very, very creative hostess with the mostess this week is Leanne! She has decided that we need a SKETCH to work with for our 45th challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks. It is a fabulous sketch Leanne and one that I would like to do again.

I broke out the flowers and used melon mambo, rich razzleberry and whisper white paper, to create this card. The punches are from Stampin up and Martha Stewart and the ink is rich razzleberry. The layout is a perfect for my Thinking of you card.
Please come and join us for this wonderful sketch challenge. I hope that it will inspire you the way it has us girls. Thank you Leanne for the fabby sketch. Be sure to stop bye my fellow DT's blogs.

New Challenge at Picture Perfect Creations
Well how are you this week? It is so exciting to have some nice weather for a change and boy the big yellow circle in the sky looks so beautiful. My week is so busy with Tristan's basketball camp. Thank goodness my hubby took me to the place ahead of time or I just might have never found it.
Megan has given us a very neat color combination this week for our color combo at PPC. At first you might think what??? These colors don't go together but they actually look really good together. My fellow DT's have made some yummy creations with it this week.
Here is my image. The stamp I used is one that my friend Leanne won and boy oh boy do i love a teddy bear. I thought it was the perfect image to go with the colors. I used the Martha Stewart scoring system to add some dimension around my card as I felt it was lacking something (really great advice Lori). Other than the pearls everything else is from Stampin Up!Megan has given us a very neat color combination this week for our color combo at PPC. At first you might think what???
