Today, my kids have the day off of school which is nice. We do have a soccer game being as it is a Monday too bad it is our last day of our long weekend. It is raining outside and really it is a welcome site even if we have to play soccer in it tonight. Maybe the skeeters will stay away...LOL.
Enough of my blah, blah, blahing. Megan has an incredible color combo this week that is soooo yummy. It was fun to get inky with and the idea of my card came so easily for me. My fellow DT's just rocked it out of the crafting park too (be sure to stop bye and see their work). So much inspiration it makes me giddy. The colors this week are Old Olive, Early Espresso and Marina Mist....doesn't that just get your creative juices flowing. Thank Meg for another fabby color combo.
While making my card I was thinking about how lucky I am to have such amazing friends and this sentiment just rings so true. To all of my friends I am blessed to have you in my life. My stamped image and sentiment are from the SU set Season of Friendship. The only item on my card not from SU is my pearls. It was fun not using my embossing folders this week but instead cutting out the flowers.
Now it is fun to be able to enter my card into a few challenges this week. Wee Memories challenge #57 is to STAMP IT!! (My images and sentiment are stamped). Paper Sundaes challenge #70 is to POP IT UP (my flowers and sentiment are popped up).
So today I will be doing some chores and making a point with everything getting so busy to get ahead on some of my DT work. That way if I get sick again, I won't be late. My nephew Cody has come for a visit and it is so much fun listening to Robin and him laugh. With it being a rainy day it is a great day to just light some candles, put on the music and create while being productive with chores *giggle, snort*.
Be sure to stop bye and check out our challenge at PPC, I look forward to seeing what you will be creating. Hope these colors inspire you the way they do me.
Thanks for stopping bye, I really appreciate you sharing my work with me. To my followers you are the best! Thank you.
