Specialty Challenge # 5 at PPC

Goood Monday Morning!!! Well after vacationing in Florida and enjoying the sun, Disney World, SeaWorld and Discovery Cove for the last two weeks with our amazing family friends the Turner Family. I am back to realty and that it is still snowing here in small town Alberta and there is no green yet *sniff, sniff*. No seriously it was the most amazing holiday with tons of laughter, many firsts and so many new memories made and ready to treasure for a life time.

I missed you all at PPC and it is going to be so much fun seeing what everyone has created while we were gone. Enough of my yapping and onto our totally exciting challenge Megan has for us this week. Are you ready?

It is week three of March already...where is the time going! So you know what that means a Specialty Challenge. Megan has given us a fun twist this week! I loved it :)

Specialty Challenge #5 is to *Show Us Your Creative Space*

So here is my creative space. I am still working on developing it into what I would like, but for now it works better for me than taking stuff upstairs to my kitchen table and never really taking it back down * wink*. So for the two years we have been working on it. My table and shelf unit came from IKEA! I love them both. My plastic containers hold rub-ons, buttons, ribbon, glitter, my clear stamps and some rubber ones (oh and so much more...LOL). This christmas my friend Lori gave me my stamp pad, ink refill and felt marker holder. Her dad did an amazing job making it and now I actually use all of my stamp pads, because I can see them before I would use my stampin' spots because it was easier than digging through a pile for the bigger ones. It also helps me to see what I still have to get. (Huge thank you to Lori and her dad organizing it all sure helped).

When we moved into our house there was this huge cabinet and it stores my punches, embossing powders and some more ribbon (cross stitching patterns). On the top my plastic containers hold my 12x12 pattern paper and plain paper. My embossing gun, big bite and cuttle bug sit behind me ready to use. My kiddy table holds my cutter and sometimes some other stuff. Now I do have an old showing machine that my daughter uses or sometimes my friends and my kids old change table has doors and 2 drawers that hold my spellbinders and embossing folders (sorry not to have pictures but for some reason they kept coming out blurry).

This challenge was so much fun. I hope you like my little place for crafting and where I go for relaxation, sanity and creating. It isn't perfect but it is starting to shape into a dream room. This week is going to rock coming to see where you craft. I hope you will join us for this fun challenge with a twist of not making something but sharing your creative space with us at PPC.

  1. wow, look at all that empty space above your cabinet! I know I'd have that sucker filled up, bet you will some day too. Way to use the kiddie table, my moto is "no surface left uncovered" lol Post the rest when you can get a good picture, I'd love to see it all!
