Good morning everyone!
Welcome to my blog.
It is hard to believe that we are at the end of March already!
We have a few birthdays in the last few days of this month.
Our son Robin's birthday was yesterday.
My 50th birthday is today...
who knows what this year will hold.
One thing, I do know it is going to be a year
of self growth and self love.
Today, we have a fantastic brand new challenge
for you over at Creative Knockouts.
Our challenges run for two weeks
and give you time to create and enter
to win a prize from our wonderful sponsor.
Challenge #491 - 2 or more pattern papers.
Our wonderful sponsor is
The image you see here is from
Our son Robin was given a platypus stuff toy when he was little.
He just loved it and well these little babies are so
very cute. When I saw this image it was
simply perfect to make his birthday card with.
Thank you so much to Beccy's Place for letting me color up
this super adorable image and share it.
The image was colored up using Copic Markers.
I used two types of pattern paper and layered them.
All layers used stitched dies (rectangle and triangle).
The pattern paper is from my scrap stash.
A little heart brad in the top left hand corner to finish it off.
Pop-ups were used under the top layer.
A clean and simple card today,
hoping it inspires you.
My fellow DT's have created some master pieces.
Be sure to check them out and share some love.
Remember our challenges run for two weeks,
we would love to see your creations over at
Wishing you an amazing day/weeek ahead.
Thank you for stopping by.
Hugs,
