Jenny Flowers and Butterflies

It is Thursday and I am back with another brand new DT creation and a brand new challenge at Creative Knockouts.  We are on Challenge #87 and we want to see you FINISH THE INSIDE. Our sponsor for this month is Color Ink Digital Stamps. I chose to use Jenny Flowers and Butterflies. It was so much fun to color her and the sentiment was absolutely perfect for Mother's Day.
Man this was a good challenge for me, since I never ever, ever finish the inside of the card until I have too. Great challenge Kelly.  A friend of mine made a resolution of sorts this year to finish all of the insides of her cards, when she makes them.  I think this should be mine for next year or maybe next month...LOL.

My image was colored using Copic markers...???
The prize is
I can't wait to see the outside and inside of your creations!! It is an easy challenge so hopefully you will come on over to Creative Knockouts and show us your inspiration.

Sending a smile your way. May some craftiness be what relaxes you today.

Have an amazing day!!

Masculine Happy Birthday

Good morning to ya all! As I am writing up this post my cats are being so funny, it actually sounds like a herd of elephants running through the house and like car tires spinning when they go around the corners. I just love it when something simple brings so much joy.

There is a brand new challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks this week and since we have 5 Thursdays in April we will have the Top Picks and a Crazy Egg pick.  Our wonderful hostess for challenge #244 is easy....Anything Goes :)

My card is up above and the stamp is from Flourishes, sentiment is from a Totally Stampalicous set. I used Early Espresso, Whisper White, scallop punch and 6x6 My Minds Eye.

We would love to have you come and join us at 4 Crafty Chicks. My fellow chicks have some amazing inspiration for you.

Thank you so much for sharing in my latest DT project.

Apple Emma

Hello! It is Thrusday and I am back with another DT card for 4 Crafty Chicks! Our lovely hostess this week is Lori and for challenge #243 she would like us to create something INSPIRED BY A BOOK.  I love this kind of a challenge because I love, love, love books.  As I was looking through my stamps, there were many that were suited to several books but Apple Emma by CC Designs has been ignored for a very long time.  While I was looking at her it popped into my head that I could use it for the book SNOW WHITE.  The apple at the top of the page is the only one colored with Wink of Stella for the poisoned apple.  The rest of it was colored using Copic's and the stamp at the bottom is Simply Said from Stampin Up.
We have had a busy week and the weather has been so beautiful.  We went and got my son his suit for graduation oh man did he look good and well I must say it was hard to hold the tears back.  Kaitlyn finished off her Provincial volleyball for club but is walking on crutches.  Their was many positives for me at my rehabilitation center this week too.  Hope your week has been one made of some memories.
I would like to enter it into:
One Crazy Stamper - April - Anything Goes
Addicted To Stamps Challenge Blog- Challenge #141 - Anything Goes
Inspiration Destination - Challenge #30 - Anything Goes

Please come on out and join us at 4 Crafty Chicks. I just can't wait to see what Inspired by a book has you create!!

Thank you for sharing my new card with me!

Small Friend!!

Good morning! I am excited to show you my latest creation with you for Creative Knockouts.  We are on Challenge #85 and Kelly would like us to use TEXTURE! I love, love, love texture so it was so much fun to create this card.  The texture on my card is from 3 different embossing folders and some distressing around the border of the image.  Papers used early expresso, whisper white and crumb cake, pink buttons and purple button.

Thank you to a Day for Daisies as they are our sponsor for this challenge. They kindly let me use the image called Small Friend.

Prize - $12 Gift Certificate
I have gotten a chance to get a little bit crafty this past weekend which was nice.  When we went shopping, there was an awesome deal on copics so I bought a few.  Not to get those color combos working...yahooo! Here is hoping you have gotten a chance to get a little crafty this week.  We would love to see you at Creative Knockouts.

Have a fantastic day!!

Hello Dolly!

Hello my friends! It has been a great week so far filled with tons of wind, some rain but the sun was a beautiful sight. I even got to have a good weekend with my family and friends.

So we have a brand new challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks this week, where I am the hostess. I would like to see what FAIRIES inspire in you for Challenge #242.

My card above was my attempt at a monochromatic card. Not sure how this turned out for a fairy card, but I do love this CC Designs image.  It was colored using copics. Wink of Stella was also used but unfortunately there wasn't the right light for it.

Please come join us at 4 Crafty Chicks. We would love to see what fairies inspire in you.

Thanks for popping in.

Have a wonderful week.

No image and no sentiment

Good Morning! Today is Thursday so we have a brand new challenge for you over at 4 Crafty Chicks!!  Our extremely talented Tina is our hostess this week.  For Challenge #241 she would like us to use Die Cuts.  So I broke them out, circles, squares, the pointed circle, the flourish and of course it was fun to tilt the stripe papers in different directions.

My kids are home this week for Easter holidays and I must say it has been very, very nice.  Our treat was going to see Fast & Furious 7. It was one of the best ones but also very sad.  They did an amazing job writing Paul Walker out and paying tribute to him.

We would love it if you showed us what and how you used your die cuts on your creation this week.  My fellow DT chicks and GDT has tons of inspiration for you.

Have an amazing day and may it hold some smiles your way!!
Thanks for sharing my latest card with me.
